1. Lazzar – Best Odds: 9/2 with bet365
Has been hovering around the placings without quite managing to convert promise into a win this season. Consistently finishing close-up, he’s likely to be on the premises again, although he’s now looking somewhat exposed at this level.
2. Captain Kinsella – Best Odds: 25/1 with Betvictor
Hasn’t made much impact in recent appearances and needs to rediscover earlier spark. Connections apply cheekpieces again in hopes of a revival, but overall profile suggests he’s playing catch-up with sharper rivals in here.
3. Solar Edge – Best Odds: 15/2 with Unibet
Showed marked improvement last time when getting his head in front at Bath, getting the better of a tight finish. A 3lb rise is manageable, and if he gets away cleanly, he might back it up with another bold show from the front.
4. Just Like Magic – Best Odds: 10/1 with bet365
Delivered a convincing success two runs ago, but failed to build on it subsequently. Talented jockey booked once more and if he finds the rhythm early, he’s capable of bouncing back. Likely to be competitive if he travels smoothly into contention.
5. Rogue Bullet – Best Odds: 10/1 with Betvictor
Been running to a steady level, with a series of decent efforts in defeat suggesting a win isn’t far away. Handles most ground types and won’t mind the pace being strong here. Could be a player if he’s held up for a late burst.
6. Silver Wraith – Best Odds: 7/1 with bet365
Caught the eye with a much-improved display last time, staying on gamely to nab second. On that evidence, a return to 5f isn’t a problem, especially if they go hard early. Could be one to take advantage if the leaders fade late.
Verdict
Solar Edge looks to be thriving and may be capable of following up his recent success, especially if he’s allowed to dominate early. Silver Wraith appeals as a strong finisher who might swoop late, while Rogue Bullet continues to hold form well and could sneak into the mix. Lazzar is rarely far away and should again be in the shake-up, but may find one or two better treated this time around.

1. Akirra – Best Odds: 10/1 with bet365
Took a while to hit top gear on her debut but shaped with potential late on, suggesting she could sharpen up significantly for the run. Hails from a yard with a strong juvenile record and is likely to take a step forward with that experience under her belt.
2. Koffee And Kale – Best Odds: 12/1 with Unibet
Didn’t go unnoticed in the paddock ahead of her first run and showed some minor promise in mid-division. The yard has enjoyed success in this sort of company, and she might come alive now tackling Windsor’s sharp 5f layout.
3. London Is Blue – Best Odds: 40/1 with Betvictor
Offered little encouragement on his racecourse debut and finished well behind the leaders. Has plenty to prove now stepping up in class, and will likely need more time and experience before showing his true potential.
4. Lynxman – Best Odds: 22/1 with Unibet
Another newcomer with an unknown profile, but has been handed a good draw and goes for a relatively new name in the training ranks. Booking of Callan is interesting, though market clues will likely be the best guide to his chances.
5. Schrodinger’s Cat – Best Odds: 11/4 with bet365
Improved sharply from first to second start, staying on strongly to grab second over a similar trip. With Oisin Murphy taking the reins and coming from a leading yard, he sets a solid standard here. Strong claims if progressing again.
6. Startled – Best Odds: 25/1 with Betvictor
Never got involved on debut, looking in need of the experience. Could benefit from the outing, but this looks another tough ask unless significant improvement is forthcoming. Others are preferred at this stage.
7. Truly Glamorous – Best Odds: 66/1 with Unibet
Finished down the field first time out and didn’t suggest an imminent breakthrough. Likely to be better with time and distance, and hard to make a strong case for at present. Needs a huge leap forward to get involved.
8. Irish Fighter – Best Odds: 5/4 with bet365
Caught the eye when chasing home a smart rival on debut at Newbury, finishing with intent. That effort sets a high benchmark in this line-up, and with De Sousa staying loyal, he’s expected to be right in the thick of it once again.
9. Madame X – Best Odds: 15/2 with Betvictor
Ran respectably on her second appearance despite not being given a hard time. Clearly possesses ability and might be suited by Windsor’s turning track. One to keep on side if she breaks more alertly and settles better early.
10. Westend Music – Best Odds: 17/2 with bet365
Didn’t shape too badly on debut, showing speed before tiring late on. Should know more now and has scope to improve for a stable that does well in juvenile maidens. Likely to be sharper with that race under his belt.
Verdict
Irish Fighter made a highly encouraging start to his career and is the one they all have to beat, with that debut run looking well above average for the grade. Schrodinger’s Cat rates the main threat, having improved notably last time out and holding solid claims on form. Akirra could outrun her odds if stepping up with experience, and Westend Music might also be capable of sneaking into the frame with normal second-run progression.

🐎 Pont Neuf (Best odds: 12/1 Betvictor)
Has yet to recapture juvenile form and the application of headgear hasn’t triggered improvement. This looks a touch easier, but others arrive in better nick. Outside place chance if bouncing back.
🐎 Far Above The Law (Best odds: 15/2 Unibet)
Ran well in stronger races last season and may come on for the seasonal return. Capable of taking a hand in the finish if building on that effort, especially with the drop in class.
🐎 Kinswoman (Best odds: 4/1 bet365)
Consistent without getting her head in front. Has been knocking on the door and represents a top yard. Has every chance to make a breakthrough if she handles Windsor’s sharp finish.
🐎 Toy Soldier (Best odds: 16/1 BetMGM)
Blinkers go back on after a trio of below-par performances. There’s a decent effort in his past form, but his recent work doesn’t inspire confidence. Needs to rediscover spark.
🐎 Fleetwater (Best odds: 11/2 Unibet)
Has hit the frame in each of her last three runs and now returns to the scene of her best effort. Should be in the mix again if the pace unfolds to suit. Each-way value.
🐎 Massimo Blue (Best odds: 14/1 BetMGM)
Fired off a win two starts back and then faded late in tougher company. If he finds early cover and settles, he’s one that could rattle home late at a decent price.
🐎 Dream Out Loud (Best odds: 11/4 bet365)
Got off the mark stylishly last time and looks to be on the upgrade. Now up in grade but appears to have more to offer. One of the likelier winners if progressing again.
🐎 Valsharah (Best odds: 7/2 Betvictor)
Three straight placed efforts this spring and looks ready to make his mark. Should travel well and be a serious threat in the final furlong. Well drawn and one for the shortlist.
🐎 Claim That Smile (Best odds: 20/1 Unibet)
Didn’t show much on his return but retains potential based on earlier promise. Probably needs the run to fall apart in front of him. More of a wildcard than a firm selection.
Verdict
Dream Out Loud has the momentum and is expected to go close again, especially with a clear run. Valsharah brings consistency and looks primed for another bold showing. Fleetwater appeals most for each-way punters, while Kinswoman is knocking hard on the door.

🐎 Noel Fox (Best odds: 7/2 BetMGM)
Made a bright start last season but failed to hit the frame in stronger company late in the campaign. Reappears here with fitness to prove, though the raw ability is evident. Could bounce back with a sharp start.
🐎 Lady Dreamer (Best odds: 3/1 bet365)
Impressive when getting up late to score last time out, and remains competitively weighted. Has course-winning form and appears to have returned in top order. Must be respected with momentum on her side.
🐎 Raffles Angel (Best odds: 11/2 Betvictor)
Ended last term on a high but struggled in tougher company since. Needs to rekindle that earlier spark, though the drop in grade may help. Each-way shout if things fall right.
🐎 Study Up (Best odds: 5/1 Unibet)
Scored on debut last autumn but hasn’t built on that promise in two outings this term. Still unexposed and may come good again, but needs to find a bit more to trouble the leading trio.
🐎 Strike (Best odds: 9/4 BetMGM)
Proved very consistent and comes here on the back of a solid second. Drawn well and should be on the pace throughout. If maintaining that form, he has a leading chance in a tightly knit field.
🐎 Tiger Tulip (Best odds: 20/1 Unibet)
Hard to recommend based on recent efforts. Has shown flashes in the past, but current form leaves her with plenty to prove. Looks up against it unless benefiting massively from the drop in class.
Verdict
Strike looks the one they’ll all need to catch, especially after his near-miss last time and handy draw. Lady Dreamer arrives with confidence after a recent win and should chase him home. Raffles Angel is the pick for each-way punters looking for a touch more value.

🐎 Phaedra (Best odds: 11/10 bet365)
Made no mistake when scoring last time and gets in here under a 6lb penalty. That recent win suggested she’s only just beginning to find her stride. With confidence high and conditions in her favour, she’s the clear one to beat.
🐎 Pistrucci (Best odds: 14/1 Unibet)
Yet to hit the frame this season, though has shown glimpses of ability. First-time cheekpieces now go on in a bid to unlock more. Would need a sharp turnaround but has a low profile that could surprise at a price.
🐎 Squires Treaty (Best odds: 6/1 BetMGM)
Has been knocking on the door with a sequence of respectable runs in similar events. Keeps finding one or two too strong but rarely runs a bad race. Could be rewarded for consistency soon.
🐎 Nelson Gate (Best odds: 14/1 Betvictor)
Disappointing on return and hasn’t really built on early potential. Blinkers retained and more needed to justify support. Others appear to have stronger recent credentials.
🐎 Gretna Dreams (Best odds: 15/2 Unibet)
Showed a bit more last time and has the scope to progress further. If she can settle better in the early stages, she might well take a step forward at this trip. One to consider for each-way multiples.
🐎 Queen Sansa (Best odds: 3/1 BetMGM)
Took a major step forward when runner-up on latest start and looks capable of building on that. She was staying on strongly late, and the extra yardage today should be a plus. A genuine threat to the favourite.
🐎 Argentum (Best odds: 25/1 bet365)
Struggled to get competitive in three tries to date and will need to find rapid improvement now switching to handicaps. A watching brief is advised unless market support suggests otherwise.
Verdict
Phaedra looked a filly on the up when landing her last race and could well defy her penalty here with something in hand. Queen Sansa appeals most as the main danger after a strong finish last time, while Squires Treaty holds solid each-way claims with his reliable profile.

1. Doctor Dauila – 50/1 – Best price with Unibet
Beaten out of sight on debut and hasn’t offered much encouragement so far. Will need a seismic step forward to trouble the judge here. For now, she appears best watched until showing more on the track.
2. Ellbryn – 66/1 – Big price available at bet365
This filly has found things tough in both of her starts and remains on the back foot heading into this. She’s drawn well in stall one but will need to break quickly and improve significantly to get involved.
3. Heaven Knows – 9/4 – Favourite with Betvictor
Highly consistent in previous outings, Heaven Knows has built a solid profile without managing to get her head in front. Her experience is an asset and she sets the standard on ratings. Looks poised for another strong performance and will be hard to beat.
4. Marajito – 5/1 – Good value at bet365
Improved on her second run when finishing just off the frame, suggesting she’s learning with experience. Still open to progress and wouldn’t be a surprise to see her step up again here. Definite each-way claims if she breaks cleanly.
5. Your Love – 4/1 – Interesting newcomer via Betvictor
Unraced but hails from a yard that can ready one first time. Hollie Doyle takes the ride, which catches the eye, and the market should reveal expectations. Could be anything and is one to keep an eye on for market signals.
6. Ediva The Fair – 20/1 – Big odds option at bet365
Comes into this without any form to boast about but gets the assistance of a top jockey. Still, her initial outing didn’t show a great deal and she would need a marked improvement to play a role in the finish.
7. Genius Mistake – 11/1 – Best priced with Unibet
Had some creditable form at the end of last year but failed to land a blow on her seasonal reappearance. She has the ability to bounce back, and with the benefit of race fitness, she’s not completely ruled out for a place.
8. Little She – 3/1 – Well-supported at bet365
Hasn’t done much wrong in three starts and appears to be progressing with each run. Drawn wide but travels well and handles this surface. Likely to be involved and should be in the mix turning for home.
9. Scenario – 33/1 – Outsider’s price via Betvictor
Has yet to show any spark in her two previous outings. A low draw helps, but she’ll need to show vast improvement to be competitive here. Market support would be noteworthy but she’s hard to recommend on current evidence.
Verdict
Heaven Knows sets the benchmark and her consistent form could finally be rewarded with a breakthrough victory here. Little She continues to progress and remains a big threat on current trajectory, while Marajito looks a lively each-way player based on recent improvement. For those seeking a wildcard, Your Love could prove a surprise package on debut if well tuned.
