Sligo 14:00

End Of Summer Mares Maiden Hurdle

 Winner £5,130, 2nd £1,652, 3rd £783, 4th £348, 5th £174, 6th £87

 4yo+, 11 Runners

 Jumps,Turf , 2m 1f 93y , SOFT

Colonel Mustard – 5/2 bet365

Trained by Peter Fahey and ridden by Danny Mullins, this 7-year-old mare ran a respectable race last time and could build on that performance today. With a Timeform rating of 125, she stands out as one of the favorites.

Faux Fur – 6/1 Betvictor

Faux Fur has shown consistency in recent starts for trainer Gordon Elliott. With a form of 72U343, she has the experience but might need a little more to break into the winner’s circle here. However, her odds suggest she’s not far off the top.

Howya Luveen – 40/1 Unibet

This 6-year-old mare hasn’t had the best form in her recent races, including an unremarkable performance last time. Trained by Ross O’Sullivan, she’s got work to do to compete in this field, but a surprise result isn’t out of the question.

Judicieuse Allen – 7/2 bet365

From the powerful Willie Mullins stable, Judicieuse Allen has the experience over hurdles but is stepping up to fences here. Her last run saw a fall, so her jumping will need to improve. If she can manage that, she’s in with a shout.

Miss Gherkin – 20/1 Betvictor

Miss Gherkin hasn’t been competitive recently, and her odds reflect that. Trained by Peter Croke, she’ll need to show significant improvement to feature in this lineup.

Mount Sinai – 8/1 Unibet

Another from Willie Mullins’ yard, Mount Sinai hasn’t hit top form recently. She’s had a few below-par efforts, but if anyone can turn her fortunes around, it’s her trainer. Worth considering for an outside chance.

Pebble Bleu – 12/1 bet365

Pebble Bleu has had mixed results, with a best recent finish of fourth. Trainer Colin Motherway will hope she can step up today, but at odds of 12/1, she might struggle to trouble the more fancied runners.

Nara – 7/4 Betvictor

Henry De Bromhead’s Nara is the favorite for a reason. She has shown solid form, and with Mark Walsh on board, she’ll likely be a key player. If she brings her best, she’ll be hard to beat.

Verdict

Nara has been performing well and could justify her favoritism here, with Colonel Mustard and Judicieuse Allen looking like her closest competition. However, the value could lie with Mount Sinai, who might just spring a surprise at longer odds if she improves.

 Winner £5,387, 2nd £1,735, 3rd £822, 4th £365, 5th £183, 6th £91

 4yo+, 17 Runners

 Jumps,Turf , 2m 1f 93y , SOFT

Fair Damsel – 7/4 bet365

Mark Walsh rides this 6-year-old for Padraig Roche. Brazil has yet to fire over fences, and recent form leaves a lot to be desired, including a poor showing last time out. While there is class in his background, his chase debut was underwhelming, making him a risky proposition despite being the favorite.

Hypotenus – 7/2 Betvictor

Trained by Gavin Cromwell, Hypotenus is still looking to find his best form over fences. He made several errors on his chase debut, and although he’s in capable hands, his tendency to race keenly may hold him back. Still, with odds of 7/2, he remains one to watch.

If You Let Me – 6/1 Unibet

Another contender from Gavin Cromwell’s yard, If You Let Me has shown promise over hurdles with a rating of 119. While Keith Donoghue prefers Hypotenus, Kieren Buckley takes the ride here, and this 5-year-old cannot be dismissed. He may well be the dark horse of the race.

Perfect Pupil – 40/1 bet365

Perfect Pupil comes into this race off the back of a heavy defeat at Kilbeggan, beaten by 44 lengths. Trained by Stephen McConville, this 6-year-old has a lot to prove, and at odds of 40/1, he faces a steep uphill battle in this company.

Valsorpresa – 10/1 Betvictor

A solid chasing debut at Perth last time puts Valsorpresa in the picture for this contest. With Danny Gilligan taking the ride for Gordon Elliott, this 6-year-old has shown enough improvement to suggest he could be competitive here. He’s not the most fancied, but at 10/1, he offers value for those looking for an outsider with potential.

Wandering Rocks – 11/1 Unibet

Wandering Rocks has struggled in recent hurdle outings after a win at Ballinrobe. This William Durkan-trained 5-year-old has yet to make an impact over fences and would need a marked improvement to figure here. The market suggests he’s more of a watching brief for this run.

Cossack Chach – 11/4 bet365

Joseph Patrick O’Brien’s Cossack Chach has been disappointing since his maiden hurdle victory. Dropping back in trip may help his cause, but recent chase efforts haven’t inspired confidence. If he can put his best foot forward, he might offer decent competition, but it’s far from guaranteed.

Verdict

Valsorpresa is our pick for this race. His solid run at Perth suggests he’s improving, and at a decent price, he offers value. Fair Damsel is undoubtedly talented but has yet to deliver over fences, while Cossack Chach could go close if things fall right. Hypotenus has potential but remains a risky option due to his jumping errors.

Sligo 15:10

Hankook Pearse Rd Tyres Maiden Hurdle

 Winner £5,387, 2nd £1,735, 3rd £822, 4th £365, 5th £183, 6th £91

 Jumps,Turf , 2m 4f 141y , SOFT

Newtown Rambler – 5/2 bet365

This 7-year-old mare, trained by Henry De Bromhead, has been consistent without winning in recent starts, finishing second on two occasions. She carries the top weight but has the form to go close if she can put everything together on the day.

Purse Price – 8/1 Betvictor

Gordon Elliott’s runner has had a mixed campaign, with a win back in July but some weaker performances since. With Jordan Gainford on board, she’ll be hoping to bounce back to her earlier form, but consistency remains an issue for this mare.

Ceanndana – 3/1 Unibet

Ceanndana has been in good form recently, with two wins in his last three starts. Trainer Ross O’Sullivan has his 7-year-old gelding in fine shape, and with Keith Donoghue in the saddle, he looks to be one of the leading contenders in this race.

Red Ball Of Fire – 9/1 bet365

Trained by Mark Michael McNiff, this mare has been somewhat inconsistent but has the ability to be competitive at this level. Phillip Enright rides, and if she can find her best form, she has the potential to make the frame.

Rightfolksplease – 8/1 Betvictor

This 6-year-old gelding from Paul W Flynn’s yard has had a couple of unseated rider incidents in recent outings. However, when he stays on his feet, he’s shown enough promise to be a danger. He could be worth considering if his jumping holds up.

Natural Breeze – 7/1 Unibet

Another from P J Rothwell’s yard, this 9-year-old has been running solidly in recent races without quite getting his head in front. Conor Owens takes the ride, and the horse’s stamina might come into play if the race turns into a stamina test.

Baltinglass Hill – 8/1 bet365

Baltinglass Hill has had a few near misses recently, including a second and fourth in his last two outings. If Tiernan Power Roche can get the best out of him, he has the potential to be in the mix, though his finishing power has been lacking at times.

Inthenickoftime – 6/1 Betvictor

Trained by E Bolger, this 4-year-old produced a much-improved performance to win last time out, and he could well build on that here. Simon Torrens takes the ride, and at 6/1, he’s one of the main threats in this race.

Cottage Artist – 25/1 Unibet

The veteran of the field at 11 years old, Cottage Artist hasn’t been at his best in recent starts, finishing down the field in his last few runs. He’ll need to turn around his form drastically if he’s to feature here, and his long odds reflect that challenge.

Verdict

Ceanndana looks to be the one to beat here, given his solid recent form and consistency. Newtown Rambler also has a strong chance if she can deliver on her potential, while Inthenickoftime could be the one to watch if he can replicate his last winning run. Natural Breeze might sneak into the places if the race turns into a test of endurance.

Atacanter – 100/30 bet365

Atacanter comes into this race having placed third last time out. Trained by Ross O’Sullivan, this 7-year-old gelding has shown promise but is yet to break through for a win over fences. With Darragh O’Keeffe taking the reins, he’s expected to be in contention again.

Great Ocean – 14/1 Betvictor

Having not raced since last year, Great Ocean remains something of an unknown over fences. This 8-year-old gelding trained by Cian Collins showed some ability in hurdles but will need to step up here. He might surprise a few if he’s sharp after the break.

Mephisto – 12/1 Unibet

Mephisto has not had the smoothest transition to chasing, with a couple of disappointing efforts. Trained by Gerard Keane, he will be hoping to improve here, but with odds of 12/1, he’s more of an outsider. Shane Fitzgerald takes the ride, and a clean round of jumping could see him improve.

Midweek Voices – 8/1 bet365

Midweek Voices has been fairly consistent, finishing fourth in both of his last two starts. While this 5-year-old hasn’t yet delivered a win, he could benefit from the experience. Eoin Doyle’s charge might be in with a chance if he can find some improvement over fences.

Noble Talent – 8/1 Betvictor

Despite showing early promise, Noble Talent has struggled to perform in recent races. Trained by T J Nagle Jr, the 7-year-old gelding will need to bounce back from a lackluster effort last time out, but odds of 8/1 suggest that the market hasn’t completely ruled him out.

Bigira – 13/2 Unibet

Bigira has shown some decent form, finishing in the top four in three of her last four outings. Trained by Mark Fahey and ridden by Ricky Doyle, she may find this longer trip to her liking. At 13/2, she’s one of the interesting contenders who could upset the more fancied runners.

Killinure Lass – 5/1 bet365

With solid form in recent starts, Killinure Lass looks well-placed to give this race a strong challenge. Trained by J P Dempsey and ridden by Daniel King, the 7-year-old mare has the form to be in contention, and at odds of 5/1, she’s well worth a look for those seeking value.

One Night Standard – 9/4 Betvictor

The market favorite, One Night Standard, arrives in this race on the back of a win last time out. Gavin Cromwell’s 5-year-old looks primed to run a big race, with Keith Donoghue in the saddle. He’s the one to beat here, and his odds of 9/4 reflect that.

Verdict

One Night Standard is the standout in this race, coming in with the best recent form and looking like the one to beat. Atacanter should give a good account of himself based on his consistent efforts, while Killinure Lass could offer some value at longer odds. Bigira may also be worth keeping an eye on if she can handle the trip.

Room To Roam – 6/1 bet365

Room To Roam has shown flashes of form but has been inconsistent in his last few runs. This 10-year-old, trained by John C McConnell, comes into this race after a respectable fifth place. Alex Harvey takes the ride, and the horse may be one to consider if he can find some of his better form.

Gladiatorial – 12/1 Betvictor

Gladiatorial has struggled to make an impact recently, with form figures of 55-696. Trained by Noel C Kelly, this 9-year-old gelding has been disappointing but has the experience to pull off a surprise if conditions suit. At 12/1, he represents an outside chance in this race.

Brandt – 7/1 Unibet

Brandt showed promise with a win two starts ago but failed to build on that last time out when seventh. Trained by Cian Collins, the 6-year-old will need to bounce back if he’s to feature here. Danny Gilligan takes the reins, and he could be a lively contender at decent odds.

Tomas O Maille – 15/2 bet365

Tomas O Maille has been running consistently, placing in a few of his recent starts. Trained by M Flannery, this 7-year-old could offer some value in the betting market. Ambrose McCurtin rides, and if he runs to form, he might sneak into the places.

Joe’s Turn – 5/1 Betvictor

Joe’s Turn, trained by Mark Michael McNiff, won a race back in July but followed it with a lackluster performance. This 8-year-old gelding has shown he can win at this level, but his form is unpredictable. Phillip Enright is on board, and he’s one of the leading contenders.

Ivar The Boneless – 16/1 Unibet

Ivar The Boneless hasn’t shown much in his recent outings, and his form figures of 7566-7 reflect that. Trained by R K Watson, this 6-year-old needs to improve significantly to figure in this field. With Donagh Meyler in the saddle, he’s an outsider with something to prove.

C’Est Rien – 4/1 bet365

The current favorite, C’Est Rien, comes into this race on the back of a recent win. Trained by Thomas Mullins and ridden by Danny Mullins, the 7-year-old looks to be in solid form and has every chance of following up with another good run. At 4/1, he’s the one to beat.

Cullenwaine – 7/1 Betvictor

Cullenwaine has been running well, with a win and a couple of decent efforts in recent starts. Trained by P J Rothwell, the 6-year-old has shown he can be competitive at this level. Tiernan Power Roche takes the ride, and at 7/1, he could be an interesting contender.

Down The Park – 20/1 Unibet

Down The Park has not shown much in recent starts and has yet to get close to winning form. Trained by Dermot A McLoughlin, the 6-year-old gelding would need to show significant improvement to feature in this race. His odds of 20/1 reflect his current chances.

General Hubble – 6/1 bet365

Trained by Gordon Elliott, General Hubble has been hit and miss, with a third place finish three starts back but poor efforts before and after. Jordan Gainford rides this 6-year-old, and if he can put in a solid performance, he has the potential to be in the mix.

The Holmeister – 18/1 Betvictor

The Holmeister has been struggling with form, failing to make an impact in his recent outings. Trained by Eoin Christopher McCarthy, this 10-year-old gelding has not been at his best and would need a big turnaround to figure here. G B Noonan takes the ride.

Verdict

C’Est Rien looks well-placed to continue his good run of form and is the one to beat in this race. Joe’s Turn and General Hubble are likely to be the main threats if they can put in consistent performances. Cullenwaine offers a bit of value and could spring a surprise with a good run.

Clifftop – 20/1 bet365

Clifftop has been running well lately, including a win two starts ago, but unseated his rider last time out. Trained by H Rogers, the 8-year-old gelding has shown he can be competitive on his day. Kieren Buckley takes the ride, and at 20/1, he could be worth considering as an outsider.

Jazzy Matty – 7/2 Betvictor

Jazzy Matty has mixed form, with a win two races back followed by a pulled-up effort last time. Trained by Cian Collins, the 5-year-old has potential but will need to bounce back from his latest run. Danny Gilligan rides, and if he’s back on form, he’s in with a good chance.

The Friday Man – 4/1 Unibet

The Friday Man returned to winning ways last time out after a string of poor performances. This 7-year-old trained by Gordon Elliott and ridden by Jordan Gainford has shown flashes of ability, and if he can maintain his form, he’ll be a key player. At 4/1, he’s a solid contender.

Digby – 5/1 bet365

Digby has been off the track for a while and his recent form isn’t the most encouraging, with a pulled-up effort on his last appearance. Trained by Dermot A McLoughlin, this 9-year-old gelding has the ability to surprise if he can rediscover his earlier form. P J O’Hanlon takes the ride, and at 5/1, he could be a dark horse.

Sea Road Fill – 66/1 Betvictor

Sea Road Fill has struggled in recent starts and has yet to hit form this season. Trained by Darren Collins, the 7-year-old gelding will need a significant turnaround to feature in this race. At 66/1, he’s one of the rank outsiders, but stranger things have happened in racing.

Space Tourist – Evens Unibet

The favorite for this race, Space Tourist, comes in with strong form, having won her last race comfortably. Trained by W P Mullins and ridden by Paul Townend, this 7-year-old mare has the class and consistency to justify her short odds. At even money, she’s the one to beat.

Verdict

Space Tourist looks set to continue her winning streak and is the favorite for a reason. The Friday Man could offer the most resistance if he builds on his recent victory, while Jazzy Matty is another contender with potential, provided he bounces back from his latest run. Digby could be an interesting outsider if he finds his old form, but Clifftop and Sea Road Fill look like longer shots.

Tullyhogue Fort comes into this race with a mixed bag of form, but his fifth-place finish last time suggests there’s potential for improvement. Trained by John F O’Neill and ridden by Mr P J O’Neill, the 8-year-old could be in the frame if everything clicks.

Le Grand Vert – 5/1 Betvictor

Le Grand Vert won back in May but was pulled up in his latest run. Trained by J P Dempsey and with Keith Donoghue taking the reins, this 8-year-old has the form to feature, but he will need to bounce back from that last performance.

Stormy Master – 7/2 Unibet

Stormy Master comes into this race in fine form, having won his last start. Trained by Ray Hackett and with Liam Quinlan in the saddle, this 10-year-old will be looking to continue his winning ways. He’s one of the leading contenders and should be closely watched.

Ballagh Star – 13/2 bet365

Ballagh Star has been consistent without troubling the leaders, with two fourth-place finishes in his last two starts. Trained by Mrs Y Dunleavy and ridden by Daniel King, the 6-year-old is capable of a good run if he can take a step forward from those efforts.

Bearwithmenow – 13/2 Betvictor

Bearwithmenow has had a mixed campaign, including a second-place finish two starts back. Trained by J P Flavin, this 7-year-old could be in the mix if he can rediscover that form. Hugh Morgan takes the ride, and at 13/2, he’s worth considering.

Bondi Boy Blue – 8/1 Unibet

Bondi Boy Blue has yet to make an impact this season, finishing down the field in his last few starts. Trained by Ms Margaret Mullins and ridden by Danny Mullins, the 6-year-old gelding would need to show significant improvement to be competitive here.

Deal Again – 33/1 bet365

Deal Again has not raced much recently, with form figures that include several heavy defeats. Trained by V T O’Brien and ridden by G B Noonan, he would need a complete turnaround in form to have any say in this contest.

Ocodango Boy – 6/1 Betvictor

Ocodango Boy has been inconsistent but showed a glimpse of promise when finishing fourth in his penultimate start. Trained by Peter McCreery and ridden by Gavin Brouder, the 7-year-old could be in the mix if he runs to his best.

Agirlcalledchloe – 7/1 Unibet

Agirlcalledchloe has been running respectably of late, finishing third last time out. Trained by P J Rothwell and ridden by Simon Torrens, the 7-year-old mare could be a contender if she can build on that latest effort.

Repeat That – 11/1 bet365

Repeat That was a winner two starts ago but followed it up with a poor performance, finishing well down the field. Trained by David Harry Kelly and ridden by Cian Quirke, the 11-year-old could be an interesting outsider if he can bounce back.

Fr Gilligansvoyge – 10/1 Betvictor

Fr Gilligansvoyge has been in and out of form but showed signs of life with a runner-up finish last time. Trained by John G Carr and ridden by Jake Coen, this 11-year-old veteran might have one more big performance in him at decent odds.

Verdict

Stormy Master looks well-positioned to continue his recent good form and should be the one to beat. Le Grand Vert is also a contender, provided he can recover from his last outing, while Agirlcalledchloe could surprise if she builds on her recent third-place effort. For those seeking value, Fr Gilligansvoyge and Ocodango Boy might be worth considering.

Nt Field Minnesota – 7/2 bet365

Nt Field Minnesota has had a rollercoaster of a season, alternating between wins and pulled-up efforts. Trained by W P Mullins, the 6-year-old clearly has ability but struggles with consistency. Paul Townend takes the ride, and at odds of 7/2, he has a chance if he can put in a clear round of jumping.

El Champo – 3/1 Betvictor

El Champo has been running well without quite getting his head in front, having finished second in his last two starts. This 6-year-old gelding, trained by P J Rothwell, is close to a breakthrough, and with Tiernan Power Roche in the saddle, he is expected to be right in the mix at 3/1.

Native Speaker – 5/2 Unibet

Native Speaker comes here on the back of a win, having broken his maiden last time out. Trained by Henry De Bromhead and ridden by Darragh O’Keeffe, the 6-year-old has the form to make a big impact here. At 5/2, he’s well-fancied to challenge for the win again.

Stuzzikini – 2/1 bet365

The current favorite, Stuzzikini, has been consistent, although he’s yet to get his head in front this season. Trained by Gordon Elliott, this 6-year-old gelding has been knocking on the door and looks well-placed to deliver a big performance under Danny Gilligan. At 2/1, he’s the one to beat in this contest.

Verdict

Stuzzikini is our top selection, with consistent performances suggesting he’s ready to land a win. Native Speaker is a serious challenger following his recent victory, while El Champo could be right there if he can find a bit extra. Nt Field Minnesota is a wildcard—he has the ability but needs to prove his consistency to feature prominently.
