Main Bet: Sam Horsfield
Our first bet for this week is Englishman Sam Horsfield, who has so far had a season disrupted by injury, but that looked back in shape with tied 18th together with Matt Wallace in the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. He played six times before the injury issue and was in fantastic form, having secured top 12 finishes in four of these tournaments. He was also fourth in the Dubai Desert Classic after being in contention in the DP World Tour Championship.
Although his stats are a bit limited this season, he is currently sixth for Approach and eight Tee to Green. Last year he finished second and 11th in these categories. If he can find a bit more on the long holes, he can undoubtedly be one of the protagonists here, and his price represents value.

Haotong Li (Each-Way) To Win

Each Way Bet: Haotong Li
Our each-way punt for this week is China’s Haotong Li. After missing 11th cut in a row last season, he kind of ‘turned a corner’ at the Open last year. After that, he missed another three cuts, but things started to change with the results that now reflect his improvements. During the previous 12 tournaments, he was tied 14th in the Dunhill Links, second in the China Open, tied 12th in the Sony Open, third in the Ras al Khaimah Championship, six in Spain and tied 26th last week at PGA Catalunya. Clearly, he has found the right way to play, and there is excellent value in backing him to be at least in contention this week and extend his very positive period of form.
