Both Teams To Score suits the way these sides currently play. Cremonese press forward aggressively at home, with Vardy and Bonazzoli in form and well supplied by Payero, Bondo and Vandeputte. Their defensive record at the Zini, however, is far from convincing. Lecce, meanwhile, have shown greater belief on their travels, scoring key goals away from Salento and arriving off the back of a morale-boosting win over Torino. With Ramadani’s work-rate, Coulibaly’s runs and Banda’s direct threat, the visitors are well equipped to exploit spaces. The combination of energetic attacks and imperfect defences points firmly to goals at both ends.

A 2-1 Cremonese win mirrors their attacking upside and defensive fragility. Nicola’s side create enough chances through Vardy, Bonazzoli and a busy midfield to score at least twice, especially with confidence high after beating Bologna. At the same time, their home form suggests they rarely control matches completely, leaving opportunities for Lecce’s energetic forwards like Banda and Coulibaly to grab a goal. Lecce’s patchy defending and injuries make it tough to see them keeping a clean sheet away from home. A narrow home victory with both teams on the scoresheet feels a natural fit for this finely balanced fixture.
Cremonese vs Lecce Predictions and Best Bets
• Away strength vs home anxiety
Cremonese have produced one of their best displays of the season away at Bologna yet still own only a single league win at Stadio Zini, underlining how unpredictable their home performances remain.
• Running power and creative sparks in Lecce’s midfield
Ylber Ramadani has covered 151.7km in Serie A this season, supported by Coulibaly, Berisha and Banda, helping Lecce stay competitive in most matches despite ongoing issues with their centre-forward options.
• Goals shared among Cremonese’s front line
Jamie Vardy and Federico Bonazzoli have already scored four league goals apiece, and with Payero, Bondo and Vandeputte supplying from midfield, Cremonese rarely look short of chances in open play.
Will Cremonese’s New-Found Confidence and Lecce’s Away Belief Turn This into a Goal-Trade Thriller?
Scratch at it for more than five seconds, though, and you see something different: two clubs who were tipped to cling on for dear life are currently outperforming expectations, quietly trying to put early distance between themselves and the drop. Cremonese arrive fresh from a statement 3-1 victory away at Bologna, a result that ripped up a 12-game unbeaten streak for the Rossoblu and reminded everyone that Davide Nicola’s side are not in this league merely to make up the numbers.
With 17 points taken from 13 matches, and this being their second-best start to a top-flight campaign, the Grigiorossi are ahead of the schedule many pundits gave them back in August. They climbed up through the Serie B playoffs, were supposed to wobble, and yet here they are, calmly sat in mid-table having already survived a bumpy November with three consecutive defeats and bounced into December with a huge away performance.
Lecce’s story is different but carries the same theme of stubbornness. Eusebio Di Francesco’s men were expected to be dragged straight back into a relegation scrap, not least because their home form in Salento has been genuinely dreadful over the calendar year. Fewest home points in Serie A, a staggering run of 11 home fixtures without scoring – it reads like something from a horror script. And yet, away from their southern base, they have found ways to collect points and stay out of the bottom three.
Last weekend’s 2-1 victory over Torino at Stadio Via del Mare, featuring first-half strikes from Lassana Coulibaly and Lameck Banda and capped by Wladimiro Falcone’s last-minute penalty save from Kristjan Asllani, felt like an exorcism. It also gave Di Francesco his first home league win of the current spell and moved Lecce to 13 points from 13 matches.

Contrasting Home Comforts and Psychological Shadows
Cremonese’s season has been a curious split-screen. Away from home, they have looked remarkably assured, as Bologna discovered in painful fashion. At the Zini, however, things get more complicated. Only one of their four league wins has arrived in Cremona, and they have lost two of their last three at home to Lecce. That is not a crisis, but it does add a layer of anxiety to what should be a fortress.
The current XI has enough quality to change that narrative. Emil Audero anchors the side in goal, with a back line likely to feature Terracciano, Federico Baschirotto and Matteo Bianchetti. Across midfield, Tommaso Barbieri and Giuseppe Pezzella provide width, while Martin Payero, Warren Bondo and Jari Vandeputte offer a blend of bite, ball progression and creativity in central areas. Up front, the pairing of Federico Bonazzoli and Jamie Vardy brings both energy and experience; they have four league goals each and are clearly trusted to carry the attacking burden.
Injuries have complicated matters, with Mikayil Faye struggling with an ankle problem and Michele Collocolo remaining on the sidelines. The encouraging news is that Alessio Zerbin and Faris Moumbagna have returned to the bench after layoffs, adding depth in the wide and forward positions.
Lecce, for their part, turn up in Lombardy with a strange mix of optimism and irritation. Their home record has been miserable, but they have been much steadier on the road, where two of their three league wins have come. The likely XI at the Zini features Falcone in goal behind Danilo Veiga, Kialonda Gaspar, Tiago Gabriel and Antonino Gallo. In front of them, Ylber Ramadani – who has covered more ground than any other player in Serie A this season at 151.7km – partners Coulibaly in midfield, with a line of Morente, Medon Berisha and Banda providing support to Nikola Stulic up front.
Ramadani is the engine room, constantly shuttling, pressing and plugging gaps. Banda brings direct running and unpredictability, while Coulibaly’s late penalty-box arrivals add a different type of threat. The main headache for Di Francesco is that Stulic and young understudy Francesco Camarda are enduring prolonged scoring droughts, and the injury list still includes Gaby Jean, Filip Marchwinski and Balthazar Pierret.

Both Teams To Score
Here at BettingTips4You we keep a clear and transparent philosophy. For every fixture we cover, we look at all the key markets – match result, goals, player angles and more – and then we ruthlessly narrow everything down to a single prediction. We do not scatter five or six tips around and later celebrate the one that happened to come in. We believe that one carefully selected bet per event is better for quality, easier for readers to follow, and far more honest when it comes to tracking long-term profitability. Every game has one clear “flag” from us, and for Cremonese vs Lecce that flag is Both Teams To Score.
Why Both Teams To Score Is Our Standout Pick
The case for Both Teams To Score starts with the basic identity of these two sides. Cremonese are not built to sit back and protect a 1-0 all afternoon. Nicola’s preferred shape, with attacking wing-backs like Barbieri and Pezzella and creative midfielders such as Payero, Bondo and Vandeputte, encourages them to push forward in numbers. As Bologna found out in brutal fashion, they can hurt decent opposition when they commit with conviction. Bonazzoli and Vardy have already scored four times each in the league, and Vardy arrives from that brace at the Dall’Ara full of mischief and confidence. At home, with the crowd demanding a response to patchy results at the Zini, it is hard to imagine Cremonese playing timid football.
Lecce might not be free-scoring, but they have shown a knack for nicking goals in the right moments. Coulibaly’s opener and Banda’s strike against Torino showed that Di Francesco’s side can create and convert chances when they commit bodies forward. Banda’s direct running from the left and Morente’s work on the opposite side, combined with Berisha operating between the lines, should give Stulic enough service to at least test Audero.
While their finishing has not always matched their approach play, Lecce have taken two league wins away from home and rarely go down without a fight. With Ramadani tirelessly covering ground and launching transitions, there is a strong platform for counter-attacking moments.
Cremonese’s defensive numbers also invite the BTTS angle. They are not watertight at the Zini, and recent home defeats show that even when they score, they often leave a door ajar at the other end.
“When a front line featuring Vardy and Bonazzoli meets a Lecce side who attack better away than at home, you are effectively betting against logic if you expect only one team to score.”
— BettingTips4You.com expert quote
With both attacking units showing enough spark and both defences far from bulletproof, Both Teams To Score is the prediction that best captures the balance of risk and reward.
Our Correct Score Prediction: Cremonese 2–1 Lecce, reflecting Cremonese’s extra cutting edge in the final third at the moment, but also acknowledging Lecce’s capacity to strike back on the road.
