Reasoning
Tuesday's acca taps into teams full of goals, intensity and late-season hunger. From Sporting’s cup push and PSG’s perfect run to Barcelona’s chaos and a fierce battle at the Etihad, every leg is loaded with action. Expect end-to-end affairs where both sides score—but the giants still get the job done.

Manchester City vs Aston Villa

Tyler Morris; Sports journalist at BettingTips4You
Rationale:

When Manchester City square off with Aston Villa at the Etihad on Tuesday night, expect a match teetering on the edge. These two sides are locked in a tight battle for Champions League places, with only a point separating them. While City have been formidable at home, they’ve also shown cracks, especially in defence. Pep Guardiola’s side have conceded in three of five games against top-six opponents at the Etihad and are missing key players like Haaland and Stones. Their recent win over Palace was more about firepower than control.

Villa, meanwhile, have momentum surging through them. They’ve lost just one of their last ten in all competitions and are riding high after smashing Newcastle and nearly stunning PSG. Their non-penalty xG and xPTS numbers are among the league’s best over the last four matches, reflecting a team in full flow. Expect goals and pressure, but with neither wanting to concede ground, a draw feels like the logical result.

Best bet – Match to end in a draw

Barcelona vs Mallorca

Herrin Kendrick; Sports journalist at BettingTips4You
Rationale:

Barcelona are grinding out wins, but defensively they look about as stable as a pint glass on a windy terrace. Saturday’s bonkers 4–3 win over Celta Vigo highlighted their frailties at the back, with Szczesny and De Jong both contributing to chaotic concessions. And yet, the Catalans keep scoring—88 goals in 32 league games and counting, even without Lewandowski.

With Ferran Torres stepping up and Yamal ripping down flanks like a winger possessed, goals seem inevitable. Raphinha’s penalties have been a nice bonus too. Mallorca, on their end, are far from dull. Their 2–0 win away at Sociedad was tidy, and despite drawing blanks against Leganes, they showed signs of life going forward. Given Barça’s creaky defence and Mallorca’s outside shot at European football, this should be another high-scoring affair. Four goals seems a modest expectation, not a stretch.

Best bet – Over 3.5 goals in the match

Nantes vs PSG

Wolfgang Shotten; Sports journalist at BettingTips4You
Rationale:

This might look like a routine win for PSG on paper, but Nantes won’t roll over easily—especially not with their Ligue 1 survival at stake. The Canaries have scored in six of their last eight games and fought hard against Nice and Lille to earn critical points. They also managed a draw in the reverse fixture against the Parisian giants, so they won’t be lacking belief.

Still, PSG have been ruthless since returning from Champions League duty, and they’re hunting a slice of history with an unbeaten domestic campaign. Luis Enrique’s side have now won ten in a row in the league, and both teams have scored in eight of those. With Mbappe and company firing at will, and Nantes sure to throw everything they’ve got at this, we’re expecting another goal-filled affair with the visitors ultimately having too much class.

Best bet – PSG to win and both teams to score

Rio Ave vs Sporting Lisbon

Gram Dodd; Sports journalist at BettingTips4You
Rationale:

Sporting Lisbon return to cup duty with a comfortable cushion after dispatching Rio Ave 2–0 in the first leg. That result gave them breathing room, but don’t expect them to park the bus. Ruben Amorim’s side are still chasing a domestic double, and their current 12-match unbeaten streak is built on attacking intent—scoring two or more in eight of those.

Rio Ave’s recent form has been patchy, with just two wins in their last 11. But they’ve still shown flashes of fight, netting in three of their last four and pushing Santa Clara to a 1–1 draw. With Sporting likely to rotate slightly, and the home side needing goals, an open game seems likely. Even if the hosts find the net, the Lions have enough quality—especially with Gyokeres and Trincao firing—to see this through comfortably.

Best bet – Sporting Lisbon to win and both teams to score
