Nap of the Day: Rattling Road to Win (2.50 Newcastle)
Rattling Road stands out as the most reliable betting option today, given his recent progression and strong course form. Since being stepped up in distance, he has shown considerable improvement, winning comfortably at Hexham before following up with another assured display over this very track and trip. His ability to see out the distance strongly was evident last time, where he travelled smoothly despite some early jumping errors and still had plenty left in reserve at the finish.
The 8lb rise in the weights is a slight concern, but given his upward trajectory, it may not be enough to halt his momentum. Meanwhile, Wild Side Of Life has struggled with his jumping and Ozzy Cosmo has failed to complete in two of his last four starts. Given these factors, Rattling Road looks to have an excellent chance of making it three wins on the bounce and continuing his upward progression in the chasing ranks.
