Market interest is clustered around a handful with recent substance. Most recently at Goodwood over 1m1f they boxed on into third, again shaping like further would suit. Today’s return to 1m4f at a track where they are 1-from-3 looks a tailored fit.
The profile stacks up against the opposition. Sea Of Charm are thriving but step back into a race with more depth; Cloudy Rose carry the whiff of a ceiling reached; Irezumi’s strike-rate at the track is modest despite frequent visits; Bohemian Breeze are admirably honest but may prefer a slightly shorter test.
Pride Of Nepal’s record by conditions is quietly persuasive (3-from-10 on this type of going, 2 wins at the distance) and the stable are ticking along at around 16% in the last fortnight. Set to shoulder 10-13 off an official mark of 62, they look fairly treated relative to the summer efforts and, crucially, return to the exact race they won twelve months ago.
