Reasoning
Our Thursday accumulator features four confident handicap selections. With all four favourites boasting strong form and facing depleted or struggling opposition, the value lies in backing them to win by more than a goal. Each tip is backed by in-depth analysis from our global experts and targets margin-based dominance.

🇧🇪 Belgium vs Ukraine

John Pentin; Sports journalist at BettingTips4You

Rationale:
Belgium are staring down the barrel following a brutal second-half collapse in the first leg, where Ukraine ran riot with three unanswered goals. Yet the Red Devils are a different animal at home. They’ve found the net in five of their last seven in front of their own fans, and despite poor recent form, their frontline—featuring the likes of Lukaku and De Bruyne—can still cause mayhem. Ukraine, on the other hand, are enjoying a purple patch. Rebrov’s side are dangerous on the break and boast six BTTS results from their last seven outings. Even when under pressure, they know how to strike. Belgium must attack, Ukraine can counter—that’s a perfect storm for both teams to notch again.

🇪🇸 Spain vs Netherlands

Wolfgang Shotten; Sports journalist at BettingTips4You

Rationale:
The first leg between these two delivered fireworks, and there’s little reason to expect anything different in the reverse fixture. With six of the Netherlands’ last nine Nations League ties featuring four goals or more, over 3.5 goals looks like a smart play. Spain have averaged nearly three goals per match in their last six outings, and even with Pau Cubarsi missing, their attack is fully loaded. Meanwhile, the Dutch are without key defenders, with Hato suspended and Timber unwell, leaving makeshift options to deal with the likes of Lamine Yamal and Nico Williams. Expect a frantic match with attacking flow and high risk-taking, especially as both teams push for a semi-final place.

Best bet – Over 3.5 Match Goals

🇵🇹 Portugal vs Denmark

Herrin Kendrick; Sports journalist at BettingTips4You

Rationale:
Portugal were stunned in the first leg, and although their firepower can’t be ignored, they’ve shown vulnerability at the back too. Denmark’s youth-led side, full of energy and purpose, were fully deserving of their win and created far more chances. With both sides packing attacking punch and playing with the urgency that knockout football demands, goals at both ends seem almost nailed on. Portugal have seen BTTS land in their last three home matches, and Denmark were lively in the first leg with nine shots on target. With Rasmus Højlund likely starting and Christian Eriksen pulling the strings, Denmark won’t be sitting back. And with Ronaldo, Fernandes and co. desperate to save face, we’re expecting action on both ends again.

Best bet – Both Teams To Score

🇩🇪 Germany vs Italy

Gram Dodd; Sports journalist at BettingTips4You

Rationale:
Germany may hold the advantage after edging the first leg 2-1 in Milan, but this tie is far from over. Italy showed their threat in that game, and their away form is strong—they won all three group stage games on the road. Both teams are stacked in midfield, and Italy’s approach relies heavily on late runs from their central players, which causes havoc for opposition defences. Germany have now scored in 13 straight matches, but they haven’t exactly been watertight either. The hosts allowed six shots on target in the first leg alone, which is alarming. With both sides needing to go for it and neither defence looking particularly reliable, expect both nets to bulge once again.

Best bet – Both Teams To Score

🇮🇪 Republic of Ireland vs Bulgaria

Steve Harrington; Sports journalist at BettingTips4You

Rationale:
The Irish camp will feel quietly confident going into the second leg after a solid 2-1 win in Sofia. They have the upper hand in terms of morale, and at home, they’ve shown more backbone in recent matches. Hallgrimsson is gradually instilling a structured style that suits the players available to him, with Azaz proving to be a key creative spark. Bulgaria, meanwhile, have little belief left. They folded under pressure in the first leg, and their record away from home is woeful—two wins in their last 13 outside Bulgaria, one against Tanzania. At the Aviva, with Irish fans behind them and Bulgaria lacking real direction or cohesion, the home side are tipped to do the double.

Best bet – Republic of Ireland to Win

🇫🇷 France vs Croatia

Tyler Morris; Sports journalist at BettingTips4You

Rationale:
France were dreadful in the first leg and must now chase a two-goal deficit at home. That will require going all in, right from the off. With Mbappe, Dembele and Barcola expected to start, goalscoring chances are almost inevitable for the hosts. But in pushing forward, they will open gaps, and Croatia are one of the best counter-attacking sides in Europe. With Modric pulling the strings and Perisic still a threat, the visitors have enough to nick a goal—just like they did in the first leg. France’s defence looked unsettled, and even the introduction of Upamecano won’t completely shore things up. This game is almost tailor-made for both sides to score.
