As Newcastle travel to the Etihad, all eyes will be on the battle between two of the Premier League’s most clinical strikers—Erling Haaland and Alexander Isak. While Haaland’s goalscoring exploits are widely recognised, Isak has been quietly building a reputation as one of the most complete forwards in the division. With 11 goals in his last 10 starts, the Swedish striker is in sensational form and will be Newcastle’s main threat against a City defence that has looked far from invincible.
Pep Guardiola’s side come into this game after a draining Champions League clash against Real Madrid, and with key defensive absentees, they could be vulnerable to Newcastle’s counter-attacking play. Southampton vs Bournemouth

Set-piece defending has been Southampton’s Achilles’ heel this season, and Bournemouth will surely look to exploit that when they visit St Mary’s. The Saints have allowed more shots from dead-ball situations than any other Premier League side, with their 116 set-piece shots conceded across 24 matches proving costly.
