Dylan Cunha’s charge has shaped like a stayer-in-waiting since scoring at Leicester in the spring over a mile and a half. Fireblade’s style – travelling smoothly and finding off the bridle – points to stamina in reserve, and stepping up in trip may be just what he needs to rediscover that winning edge. While the field contains seasoned handicappers, few are as unexposed at this sort of trip, and he could well outstay his more fancied rivals.
15:47 Uttoxeter – Tropical Speed

Olly Murphy’s Tropical Speed hasn’t always shown his hand clearly since moving over from Ireland, but the six-year-old is starting to find his feet. Conditions again look to be in his favour, and the slight ease in the weights gives him just enough wriggle room. If he can recapture anything like that Stratford sparkle, Tropical Speed has a serious chance of returning to the winner’s enclosure at a decent price.
