Punters have a fascinating afternoon in store this Sunday with racing spread across Newcastle, Epsom and Ffos Las, three very different venues that demand contrasting skill-sets from horses and riders alike. At Newcastle, the straight seven furlongs on the Tapeta will once again test rhythm and timing, a strip where closers can be deadly if the leaders overcook it. Epsom then provides the unique challenge of undulations and cambers, magnifying the value of track craft, while Ffos Las offers a stamina-sapping mile that puts emphasis firmly on grit and the ability to sustain effort deep into the final furlong.
Our team of experts at BettingTips4You have combined their strongest fancies from these cards into a Sunday horse racing accumulator. With three legs drawn from very different types of contests, this multiple offers a mix of class, course affinity and tactical edges. Each selection has been handpicked by one of our tipsters—John Pentin, Herrin Kendrick and Gram Dodd—who have all delved into the formbooks to find the runners that look best placed to strike on today’s terms.
Let’s take a closer look at each selection, with full insight and reasoning from the three experts backing them.

46/1 - odds when tipped | |
Reasoning This three-pronged accumulator blends proven form with tactical edges. King’s School thrives over Newcastle’s straight seven and is virtually on the same mark. Give It To Me Oj knows Epsom’s contours and retains upside. Fifty Sent has already excelled over a mile at Ffos Las, and his claim offsets the rise. |
14:45 Newcastle – King’s School
John Pentin; Sports journalist at BettingTips4You
Rationale:
King’s School produced the clearest evidence yet that he is firmly at home over Newcastle’s straight seven furlongs when running out a commanding course-and-distance winner on his most recent appearance. That victory wasn’t a narrow scrape; he travelled like the best horse, was produced to lead at the right moment, and put the race to bed in decisive fashion. The 4lb rise imposed by the handicapper is softened by Warren Fentiman’s 3lb claim, exactly the same combination that clicked last time. On net terms, he is virtually running from the same rating, which makes the follow-up attempt entirely realistic.
The set-up here promises to help him again. Highland Olly and one or two others are habitual front-runners who like to force the pace, and that should guarantee an honest gallop. King’s School is not reliant on a specific scenario, but when the tempo is solid he can sit off it, conserve energy and deliver a telling challenge inside the final furlong. Gemma Tutty’s yard are turning out their horses in consistent shape, and this gelding looks to be thriving for the stable. If he gets the gaps at the right time, expect his finishing power to be a decisive factor again, and Newcastle remains the place where he is at his most fluent.

15:30 Epsom – Give It To Me Oj
Herrin Kendrick; Sports journalist at BettingTips4You
Rationale:
Few races test both horse and rider like the Apprentices’ Derby Handicap around Epsom’s full circuit. Give It To Me Oj has already proven he can handle the unique demands of this track with a fluent success just over a fortnight ago. That day, he controlled the race from the front, set even fractions, and quickened decisively to make all, demonstrating not just stamina but balance around Tattenham Corner and the ability to handle the camber in the straight. It was a polished performance, and although the handicapper has raised him 7lb, Ashley Lewis offsets the bulk of that with his 5lb claim, leaving the gelding with only a marginally tougher task.
The Moore team have an outstanding record in this race and clearly target it with suitable types. Give It To Me Oj is also no stranger to success under different codes, having won three of his last four starts over hurdles, a testament to his toughness and competitive edge. Rated 143 over timber, he has scope to be better than his current flat mark of 85 suggests, meaning he still has room to manoeuvre even after his latest victory. Provided he isn’t taken on too aggressively in the early stages, he should again be able to dictate matters and stretch his rivals turning in. With proven Epsom form, a helpful claim and a yard with race-specific know-how, he looks well placed to double up.
15:40 Ffos Las – Fifty Sent
Gram Dodd; Sports journalist at BettingTips4You
Rationale:
Fifty Sent has wasted no time making an impression since joining Thomas Faulkner’s team, scoring a decisive course-and-distance win last month at just the second attempt for his new connections. That success was achieved with authority: he travelled smoothly, moved into contention without fuss, and put daylight between himself and his rivals in the final furlong. The assessor has raised him 5lb for that, but with Rhys Elliott taking off the same amount with his claim, he effectively competes off the identical figure as last time. In practical terms, that means he turns up here as well handicapped as for his most recent win.
Crucially, the mile at Ffos Las is no soft option. When the rain gets into the ground—as it often does—the final two furlongs can become an attritional slog. Fifty Sent showed he could handle that very scenario, coping admirably with the testing conditions and still finishing with more in the tank. That makes him a strong proposition to follow up, especially against rivals who either lack the same proven stamina on this course or have question marks under the conditions. Faulkner has freshened him up just enough since that victory, and if he reproduces the same effort, he is primed to dominate again. His ability to handle both the track and likely ground sets him apart in this company.he aggressive front-running style that brought earlier success. W
ith Market Rasen often favouring those who can dictate the race, especially on quicker ground, Summerleaze could bounce back strongly and notch his first chase win. If he shows the same enthusiasm he did over hurdles earlier in the season, he’s an extremely dangerous contender at this level.
