Reasoning
Our Thursday accumulator features four confident handicap selections. With all four favourites boasting strong form and facing depleted or struggling opposition, the value lies in backing them to win by more than a goal. Each tip is backed by in-depth analysis from our global experts and targets margin-based dominance.

England vs Albania

Tyler Morris; Sports journalist at BettingTips4You
Rationale:
England welcome Albania in a fixture where all signs point to the hosts asserting control from the outset. With Thomas Tuchel making his managerial debut, the emphasis is expected to be on pressing high and quickly asserting dominance – something the current England crop are well suited to execute. The Three Lions come into this one with an astonishing 31-match unbeaten streak in World Cup qualifying, boasting 23 victories in that spell and regularly overwhelming opponents before half-time.

Albania, meanwhile, are likely to approach the game conservatively, sitting deep to stifle England’s rhythm. However, this reactive strategy could backfire. England possess incisive players such as Jude Bellingham, Marcus Rashford and Harry Kane, all capable of dismantling a compact defensive shape. Previous head-to-heads support this view too – England have led at the break and full-time in each of their last two meetings with Albania. Add to that the energy a new manager brings, and this feels like another strong start-to-finish outing for the hosts.

Best bet – England/England Half Time/Full Time

Poland vs Lithuania

Wolfgang Shotten; Sports journalist at BettingTips4You
Rationale:
Poland may not have been firing on all cylinders recently, but when it comes to finding the net, they remain consistently dangerous. Hosting a Lithuanian outfit whose defence has shipped 16 goals in their last six qualifiers, Poland should have few issues putting their attacking qualities to good use. Robert Lewandowski remains the focal point, but there’s creativity and pace in support from the likes of Jakub Moder and Sebastian Szymanski, who help stretch defences and create spaces centrally.

Lithuania, for their part, have struggled badly against sides of Poland’s calibre. Their rearguard regularly caves under sustained pressure, and in four of their last five fixtures they’ve conceded at least twice. With Poland looking to restore pride and build momentum, this match is perfectly set up for them to deliver a dominant display on home soil. While Lithuania may sneak a consolation, Poland’s intent and offensive weapons should see this go over the goals line.

Best bet – Poland to Win and Over 2.5 Goals

Malta vs Finland

Herrin Kendrick; Sports journalist at BettingTips4You
Rationale:
Malta might be ranked considerably lower than Finland, but recent form paints a far more balanced picture. The Mediterranean side have found rhythm at home, where they’ve lost just once in their last six matches at Ta’ Qali. Their tactical structure under Michele Marcolini has brought cohesion, particularly in transitions where the energy of Paul Mbong and the direction of Teddy Teuma help Malta control midfield battles and launch attacks with purpose.

Finland, in contrast, are on a downward spiral. Four goalless games from their last six is more than a slump – it’s a signal that their attacking structure is disjointed. Even with the presence of seasoned forwards like Joel Pohjanpalo and Benjamin Kallman, the team lacks fluidity in the final third. Their backline has looked vulnerable against even modest opposition, and when you combine that with a lack of confidence, Malta’s current run feels primed to continue.

Best bet – Malta to Win

Northern Ireland vs Switzerland

Steve Harrington; Sports journalist at BettingTips4You
Rationale:
Northern Ireland may boast a good recent record at home, but context matters. Their victories have largely come against sides well below Switzerland’s level, and the absence of Conor Bradley and Dion Charles leaves them short on experience and attacking threat. The reliance on youth up top, including Callum Marshall, means they’ll likely find it tough to break through a well-drilled Swiss unit.

Switzerland, while not flawless themselves, still maintain a disciplined structure. Their midfield core of Remo Freuler and Vincent Sierro offers steel and tactical awareness, and in Joel Monteiro they possess a direct attacking outlet who has shown promise in recent international appearances. With Gregor Kobel between the sticks and a cohesive defensive line, Switzerland have every chance of shutting down Northern Ireland completely.

Best bet – Switzerland to Win to Nil

Romania vs Bosnia-Herzegovina

John Pentin; Sports journalist at BettingTips4You
Rationale:
Romania come into this match full of confidence, riding a six-game winning streak and boasting a well-balanced starting eleven. They’ve been potent in front of goal recently, with Razvan Marin orchestrating play from midfield and Andrei Ratiu making strong contributions down the flank. At home, they’ve looked resolute and efficient – a team built on discipline and momentum.

However, Bosnia-Herzegovina, while underwhelming in the Nations League, do possess quality in key areas. Edin Dzeko remains a reliable presence up front, and the experience of Sead Kolasinac in defence could help stabilise them. Though they were humbled by Germany not long ago, they held the Netherlands to a draw – showing they’re still capable of competing when organised.

Romania’s recent surge in form might not be enough to overwhelm a Bosnia side desperate to respond. A stalemate seems the most likely outcome here, with both sides cancelling each other out in key moments.

Best bet – Draw

Andorra vs Latvia

Gram Dodd; Sports journalist at BettingTips4You
Rationale:
This contest sees a struggling Andorra face a Latvian side eager to hit the ground running in their World Cup qualifying campaign. Andorra have not won a competitive fixture in nearly 18 months, and their goal threat is minimal – with only two scorers across their last nine matches. Defensively, they’re stubborn at home, but lack the tactical variety to counter a more athletic and technically superior Latvia side.

Latvia, although inconsistent, have dominated this head-to-head historically. They’ve not lost to Andorra in over a decade and have won seven of the last 11 meetings. Coach Paolo Nicolato is still shaping his squad, but even with some injury setbacks, Latvia’s structure and attacking output remain solid. Gutkovskis provides a physical presence up top, while the midfield trio have enough dynamism to overrun Andorra.

Given the visitors’ superiority and motivation, a convincing away win – even with a handicap – looks like the value pick here.

Best bet – Latvia -1 to Win
