Reasoning
Friday’s football accumulator draws value from four competitive fixtures, each showcasing a clear edge either in form, quality or situational advantage. With potent attacks on show and vulnerable defences, our expert panel delivers a well-balanced set of picks, blending value in goals and results across Europe’s key qualifiers.

Norway vs Italy

Wolfgang Shotten; Sports journalist at BettingTips4You
Rationale:
With the momentum firmly in their favour, Norway will aim to deepen Italy’s qualifying misery. The Scandinavians have shown genuine evolution, beating Moldova and Israel convincingly, and look capable of continuing their ascendancy. Led by talismanic figures like Martin Ødegaard and Erling Haaland, their frontline has flourished – combining for five goals in two qualifiers. Norway also boast consistency at home and, unlike the troubled Italians, arrive without disruption to their squad.

The Azzurri, however, are stumbling into another tournament cycle with key players absent and mounting pressure on Luciano Spalletti. Their defence has been unsettled, with veterans like Acerbi declining call-ups and injuries taking a toll. Italy have not played a World Cup match since 2014, and signs of fragility persist. Although their quality may ensure a goal, it’s the home side who look more unified and dangerous, especially in front of an Oslo crowd.

Best bet – Norway to win and both teams to score

Wales vs Liechtenstein

Herrin Kendrick; Sports journalist at BettingTips4You
Rationale:
Wales should encounter little difficulty when they meet a Liechtenstein outfit that rarely trouble the scorers. The Dragons, reinvigorated under Craig Bellamy’s leadership, remain undefeated across eight matches and are building attacking rhythm. Hosting the 205th-ranked side at Cardiff City Stadium, expectations are sky-high for a dominant display.

Liechtenstein have failed to find the net in four of their last five contests and have conceded ten goals in their most recent four matches. That poor form against much weaker sides than Wales suggests a defensive collapse is on the cards. With an improving Brennan Johnson back in form – his late-season flourish at Spurs including a European final winner – Wales possess the firepower to overwhelm.

The home side’s recent scoring streak includes matches against vastly stronger nations, and Liechtenstein’s lack of resistance should result in a comprehensive home win. With rotation or not, Wales have more than enough in reserve to secure a comfortable margin.

Best bet – Wales -4 handicap

North Macedonia vs Belgium

John Pentin; Sports journalist at BettingTips4You
Rationale:
Belgium continue to dazzle in the final third, but their ongoing defensive lapses have prevented clean sheets even against modest opposition. With Kevin De Bruyne orchestrating play and Romelu Lukaku leading the line, goals are rarely in short supply. But a 3-3 draw with Ukraine and various leaky performances before that highlight their current imbalance.

North Macedonia are no pushovers on their own turf. They’ve managed to net in several competitive fixtures, including against Wales, and in front of a home crowd, they will push for chances. Miovski remains a threat, and with Belgium often leaving spaces when pressing, it’s easy to envisage both teams scoring.

Nevertheless, Belgium’s firepower is likely to prove too much. They simply outclass their opponents man-for-man, and as long as their finishing reflects their dominance in possession, they should come through unscathed on the scoreboard – even if they allow one through.

Best bet – Belgium to win and both teams to score

Czech Republic vs Montenegro

Gram Dodd; Sports journalist at BettingTips4You
Rationale:
The Czech Republic have found a rhythm in qualifying that’s hard to ignore. Ivan Hasek’s men have dominated their group with back-to-back victories and now return to Plzeň aiming for a third. Their 4-0 dismantling of Gibraltar reflected attacking variety and creative dynamism, underpinned by standout showings from Soucek and Schick.

Montenegro, though arriving with six points too, have looked far less convincing. Their late winner against the Faroe Islands masked a disjointed performance, and they continue to struggle away from home – losing four on the bounce and failing to score in each. History is against them too, with the Czech Republic triumphing in their last five head-to-head meetings.

The hosts have not qualified for a World Cup since 2006, but this team appears hungry to change that. Scoring freely and rarely conceding, their current trajectory makes them strong favourites in this tie.

Best bet – Czech Republic to win and both teams to score
