The pressure is building, and with Inter Milan stretching their lead, the Partenopei cannot afford another slip-up in their pursuit of the title.
Milan, though, are not the dominant force they’ve previously been. While they’ve collected back-to-back wins, including a vital comeback against Como, their overall league form remains patchy. Their manager, Sergio Conceicao, has steadied the ship slightly, but the future remains uncertain, with whispers of a potential summer exit.
Napoli’s recent switch to a 3-5-2 has made them more direct, particularly with Romelu Lukaku now shouldering the attacking responsibility. His record against Milan is impressive—eight goal involvements in fewer than 10 matches against them—and he remains their focal point. With Giacomo Raspadori alongside him and Lobotka orchestrating in midfield, Napoli should have enough to cause issues.
