The other side of the draw looks even more combustible. Stephen Bunting, reinvigorated after his stunning Berlin triumph and a follow-up title on the European circuit, meets Luke Humphries in what will be their third clash in just seven days. Both are in solid form, but it’s Bunting who’s riding the wave of confidence after defeating this very opponent en route to a sensational week.
To round off the opening quartet of fixtures, all eyes will be on Luke Littler, the teenage sensation, as he squares off against Gerwyn Price. Littler has now suffered six straight defeats to The Iceman, including a shock early exit midweek. With the stakes rising, this match could be pivotal for both their campaigns.
