Both Teams to Score
This selection feels warranted given the current form and frailties of both outfits. Spurs are still adjusting to life post-Levy and have been leaking goals at a worrying rate. Across their past 23 league matches—excluding meetings with promoted clubs—they’ve suffered defeat on 17 occasions, and their defensive setup remains unconvincing.
Furthermore, Spurs have recorded just three wins in their last 16 London derbies, underlining a longstanding issue when facing familiar foes in the capital. Their recent 1-0 defeat to Bournemouth highlighted just how toothless they can appear, even when playing at home.
On the other side, West Ham haven’t lost their scoring touch at the London Stadium, netting in each of their previous five home league matches. Although they haven’t won any of those contests—drawing three and losing three—the Hammers have shown consistency in at least getting on the scoresheet. The last three editions of this exact fixture have all ended 1-1, and it’s worth noting Spurs have failed to win at this ground in the league since 2019.
These factors combine to create a strong case for backing goals at both ends once again.

Jarrod Bowen – 2 or More Shots on Target
Bowen has been central to West Ham’s attacking play, and his recent performance against Nottingham Forest reaffirmed his importance. Not only did he score, but he looked sharp throughout, often drifting into dangerous central areas. With uncertainty surrounding who leads the line—Callum Wilson could start, or Bowen might be deployed centrally—Bowen is likely to be in a prime shooting position regardless.
Against a Spurs backline that’s without Dragusin and potentially still missing Maddison’s pressing support further up, Bowen will find spaces to exploit. Whether operating wide or through the middle, his eye for goal remains sharp. In West Ham’s last match, Bowen, Lucas Paquetá, and Wilson all found the net, showing the Hammers’ fluidity in attack.
Additionally, Spurs conceded several chances to Bournemouth, and if they repeat that passive defensive display, Bowen could easily find himself with opportunities to test Vicario. With confidence high and Potter potentially setting his team up to be aggressive at home after ending their poor start to the campaign, Bowen should register multiple efforts on target in this one.

West Ham vs Tottenham Bet Builder Tip | |
11/1 - odds when tipped | |
Reasoning With Tottenham’s defensive vulnerabilities and West Ham’s home scoring streak, goals at both ends seem likely. Bowen, fresh from a standout display, looks set to test Vicario frequently. Meanwhile, Richarlison, likely leading Spurs’ line, should pose a constant threat. This trio of bets combines logical form and tactical insight for strong value. |
Richarlison – 2 or More Shots on Target
With Solanke racing against time to prove his fitness and Kolo Muani still adjusting to life in North London, Richarlison is the most likely to spearhead Spurs’ front line. The Brazilian thrives when given consistent minutes, and this could be his chance to seize the striker’s role.
He’ll be up against a West Ham defence that hasn’t kept a clean sheet at home in their last six Premier League outings. Despite their recent win at Forest, Potter’s men remain suspect at the back—especially when transitioning. Richarlison’s strength lies in his ability to exploit such transitional moments with intelligent movement and physicality.
Moreover, Tottenham will look to Xavi Simons to provide creativity from the midfield, which could result in several chances falling Richarlison’s way. The absence of key West Ham defenders like Fullkrug and possibly Earthy means that Richarlison could benefit from a slightly makeshift Hammers back line.
Given the open nature of recent derbies between these two sides and the expected pace of the match, Richarlison should find multiple chances to work the goalkeeper.
