1. Advertised – 14/1 (Best odds with bet365)
An unexposed type from Grant Tuer’s yard who will likely improve with experience. While debutants from this stable can surprise, this one might need more time on the track to reach peak form.
2. Grey Horizon – 8/1 (Top value via BetVictor)
Richard Fahey’s colt shaped with promise on debut, showing decent gate speed before fading. Should be sharper this time and could figure prominently if stepping forward from that effort.
3. Houndhill – 33/1 (Best price with Unibet)
Represents Nigel Tinkler’s team but didn’t catch the eye on debut. Would be a surprise package if breaking into the frame here.
4. Our Hero Matty – 50/1 (Best odds at bet365)
Brian Ellison’s runner makes little appeal on paper. Needs a monumental leap forward to feature in this line-up.
5. Black Endeavour – 33/1 (Best value through Unibet)
From a stable not known for first-time-out winners and market confidence is thin. Best watched today.
6. O Fortuna – 22/1 (Available at bet365)
Caught the eye with some decent early speed last time. From a yard that gets its share of juvenile winners, and improvement could see him sneak into the frame.
7. Dubai Time – 9/2 (Top odds with BetVictor)
Ran a solid race on his debut and that experience will do him good. Looks well-built for this sharp test and could be a real threat with natural progress.
8. Hellcat – 9/1 (Best odds via Unibet)
Put in an encouraging shift previously, staying on late. If he breaks better, he might be able to lay down a stronger challenge. Not without a shout at a nice price.
9. High Rubican – 3/1 (Currently shortest odds with bet365)
Highly regarded and brings solid expectations. Likely to be prominent early and hard to dismiss, but whether he’s worth the skinny odds remains to be seen.
10. Magistery – 28/1 (Top price at BetVictor)
Michael Dods’ colt didn’t get involved on debut and may need a few runs before hitting his stride. Others preferred at this stage.
11. Miss Yechance – 6/1 (Top value via bet365)
Strong on debut with plenty of backing in the market. Could come on considerably and might be suited by this sharper 5f test. Dangerous if improving.
12. Naana’s Shadow – 9/2 (Best price with Unibet)
Showed good tenacity when last seen and is well-regarded by her stable. With race experience on her side, she could take a big step forward today.
13. Popty Ping – 22/1 (Best odds via bet365)
Didn’t leave much of a mark on debut but the trainer’s juveniles often improve after a run. Not entirely ruled out for a place.
14. Rai Rogers – 33/1 (Top price at BetVictor)
Hard to gauge his chances based on limited data, and nothing on debut suggested he’s ready to compete with the market leaders just yet.
15. Wan Ten Ninety – 33/1 (Best value from bet365)
From a yard that does produce juveniles capable of springing surprises. Still, this one may need more time before making a real impact.
Verdict
Miss Yechance appears to hold strong credentials here with an encouraging debut and a trainer adept at readying juveniles, making her the selection at 6/1. She can build on that experience and put her race nous to good use. Dubai Time is a big player too and likely to be in the mix, while Grey Horizon could outrun his odds if breaking sharply. For each-way value, Hellcat is one to watch.

1. Big Leader – 10/1 (Top odds with bet365)
Has yet to break through but hinted at ability previously and could take a step forward here. P J McDonald remains an asset in the saddle, and he may well be competitive if improving with distance.
2. Crown Of Oaks – 8/11 (Shortest odds at BetVictor)
A well-supported runner from the Haggas stable, placed twice already. Clear on official figures and expected to set the pace. Hard to look beyond him, but short odds do limit appeal for value backers.
3. Highfield Comrade – 66/1 (Best price via Unibet)
Showed little of note in previous runs and appears to be up against it once again. Has a big task on his plate and improvement must be significant.
4. Pebble Island – 16/1 (Top price at bet365)
Simon & Ed Crisford’s runner had a quiet debut, but better is likely to come. Has shown enough at home to suggest he isn’t without a squeak if things fall right. One for each-way interest at decent odds.
5. Spy Kingdom – 6/4 (Top value from Unibet)
Archie Watson’s charge brings two promising runner-up finishes into this contest. Still learning his craft, but possesses enough pace and determination to make a big impact. The primary danger to the market leader.
6. Breizh Sea – 100/1 (Available through bet365)
Debut run left much to be desired, and he enters this race with limited credentials. Needs to show marked progression to be considered a factor.
Verdict
Spy Kingdom stands out as the most likely improver and looks poised to make his mark after two encouraging performances. At a more appealing price than the favourite, he represents the better value play. Crown Of Oaks remains the class act and will command attention at the head of the market, while Pebble Island could sneak into the frame at longer odds if bouncing back.

1. Ideal Guest – 11/2 (Top odds at BetVictor)
Better known for placing than winning of late, this Harriet Bethell-trained runner has been knocking on the door. Well-handicapped now and could capitalise if things fall into place.
2. Mayo County – 9/2 (Best price via bet365)
Progressive in recent starts and shaping like a horse on the upgrade. Julie Camacho’s gelding continues to attract support and remains a big danger with further improvement expected.
3. Naval Academy – 13/2 (Value pick from Unibet)
Made mild headway last time and could now be reaching peak fitness. Looks well drawn and capable of running better than his price implies, especially if he can settle early.
4. Queens Road Revue – 9/2 (Top value through bet365)
Consistently hitting the frame and now arrives with solid form credentials. David Allan retains the ride, and if this one gets cover early, he could be finishing fast.
5. Desert Raider – 16/1 (Available at Unibet)
Blew the cobwebs off with a recent reappearance and may come on for the run. Still needs to prove he can string it together consistently, but could grab a place if the tempo suits.
6. Oscar’s Sister – 14/1 (Best odds from bet365)
Struggled for rhythm last season, but has hinted at a return to form. Faces an easier assignment here, and one good run could see her back in the reckoning.
7. Starlight Stanley – 16/1 (Top price via BetVictor)
Limited evidence so far this year and hasn’t shown enough to suggest immediate threat. More likely needed down in grade or trip to get involved.
8. Harry Magnus – 16/1 (Best value with bet365)
On a declining mark and has plenty of runs under his belt. Still, a touch of spark could see him bounce back, and not totally dismissed from a low draw.
9. Coramento – 9/2 (Best odds from Unibet)
Fresh from a recent win and carrying momentum. Despite a slight rise in the weights, this gelding retains a competitive edge and has a strong each-way profile again.
10. Cable Beach – 20/1 (Top price at BetVictor)
Generally found life tough and recent runs don’t inspire confidence. More needed, though not impossible with a good pace and handy track position.
11. Rain Cap – 9/1 (Great value via bet365)
The veteran of the field and has run well here before. Last effort was encouraging, and a similar performance could see him challenge in the closing stages.
12. Too Much Too Young – 33/1 (Best price from Unibet)
Hard to fancy based on recent figures, and continues to slide in the handicap. Has plenty to prove now and will need a revival to feature.
Verdict
Mayo County stands out as the most upwardly mobile in the field, and at 9/2 looks primed to strike again under Ryan Sexton. He’s been improving steadily and finds a winnable race. Coramento is respected off the back of a confidence-boosting victory and rates a danger. For those chasing each-way value, Rain Cap shouldn’t be underestimated given his solid local form.

1. Safanah – 12/1 (Top price with bet365)
Wasn’t able to lay down a marker on seasonal reappearance, but Fahey’s filly retains potential. Oisin Orr sticks with the ride, and a better showing wouldn’t surprise on this return to a more suitable trip.
2. Amayretto – 11/4 (Best value via BetVictor)
Returned from a break to score at Newcastle and looks to be carrying that sharpness forward. Stays well and knows how to get the job done, making her a major threat once again.
3. B Associates – 10/1 (Top odds from Unibet)
Effort on latest outing was mildly encouraging, but past performances suggest he’s a touch inconsistent. Still, wouldn’t be a shock to see him run on into the places if he gets a clear path late.
4. Lumenbourg – 10/3 (Available at bet365)
Delivered a solid second last time out and appears to be holding form well. Has a profile that suits this race setup, and from a handy position, he should be thereabouts once more.
5. Once Adaay – 14/1 (Top price from BetVictor)
Hasn’t fired in her last couple but has form in better company and could find this easier. Needs to bounce back, but there’s enough in her profile to consider at a big price.
6. Sunny Orange – 10/1 (Best odds via bet365)
Well exposed but retains ability at this level. Has produced a few solid efforts and might take advantage of a decent draw if pace collapses in front of him.
7. Kalganov – 5/1 (Best value through Unibet)
Consistent of late and holds course-and-distance winning form. Dods’ gelding has found his groove again and should be kept on side with another strong showing anticipated.
8. Wiggins B – 9/1 (Top price at bet365)
Still searching for rhythm this term, though he hinted at a return to form last time. Will need to find more to land a blow here, but could sneak into the mix if things unfold his way.
9. Going Underground – 12/1 (Best price via BetVictor)
Old-timer who can still spring a surprise under the right conditions. He’s been knocking on the door and might grab a minor place with a clean break.
10. Bobby Joe Leg – 9/1 (Available through Unibet)
Veteran sprinter who continues to defy his age with battling efforts. Can go close in races like this when given a clear run, and the booking of James Sullivan is always a plus.
11. Spartan Fighter – 16/1 (Top odds at bet365)
Still looking for his spark this season and performances have plateaued. He’s slipped in the weights though, and that might bring him into play if things click.
Verdict
Kalganov appeals most in this wide-open affair. He’s dependable, drawn well, and his recent figures suggest he’s trending in the right direction. Lumenbourg can give him plenty to do from the front if controlling the fractions, while Sunny Orange might just be the value pick if stamina becomes the deciding factor late on. Expect a tight finish in what’s shaping up to be a competitive division.

1. Angelic Bugler – 7/2 (Top value with bet365)
Tim Easterby’s filly arrives with a win under her belt and has shown enough toe to suggest she’ll be thereabouts again. Needs to raise her game slightly under top weight but has a good attitude and a strong rider on board.
2. Boyne Lady – 11/4 (Best price via BetVictor)
A model of consistency in recent starts, and although a win still eludes her, she’s not been beaten far. From the inside stall and with a handy mark, she commands respect at the head of the market.
3. Brazilian Belle – 11/2 (Available through Unibet)
Michael Dods’ runner looks to be improving with racing and shaped well on seasonal return. Likely to benefit from a strong pace and could finish strongly with a bit of luck in-running.
4. Another Abbot – 10/3 (Best value at bet365)
Well regarded and potentially better than this grade, but may have needed the run when reappearing last time. Still lightly raced, and connections will be hoping for a sharper effort now.
5. Get Up Everybody – 15/2 (Top price via BetVictor)
Paul Midgley’s colt has hinted at ability in better company and wasn’t disgraced in recent outings. If the blinkers spark a bit more focus, he could easily make the frame at a nice price.
6. Jeany May – 14/1 (Best odds with bet365)
Returned to action with a pair of modest efforts but not completely dismissed. Capable of bouncing back under the right conditions and her previous win suggests she has a turn of foot if on song.
7. Keep The Gold – 16/1 (Top price from Unibet)
Has struggled to find rhythm thus far, though connections clearly think he has ability. Steps back in with a fair mark and could be sharper for his previous efforts. A dark horse, but one with plenty still to prove.
8. Fair Call – 12/1 (Best odds at bet365)
Julie Camacho’s filly has shown glimpses of potential, especially in her juvenile campaign. She returns from a break and if she’s ready to go first time up, she may run better than the odds imply.
Verdict
Brazilian Belle catches the eye at 11/2 after a promising return to action. She looks primed to run a big race over this sharp trip, and with further improvement expected, she earns the nod. Angelic Bugler should give a solid account despite the weight burden, while Fair Call is worth considering as a lively outsider in a field where several could step forward.

**1. Faylaq – NR
This runner has been declared a non-runner and will not take part in this contest.
2. Penzance – 10/1 (Best price via Unibet)
Michael Appleby’s charge hasn’t managed to land a blow in his recent outings, but a step back into handicap company might bring improvement. He’s capable of running on from the rear if the pace collapses late.
3. Sir Lowry’s Pass – 100/30 (Top value at bet365)
Fresh from a seasonal comeback success, this progressive type for Ed Walker appears to be going the right way. Has tactical speed and a finishing kick, which could prove decisive in this field.
4. Cracking Gold – 16/1 (Best odds with BetVictor)
Clive Cox’s runner has been holding his form admirably, though may find this deeper company a tough ask. Wouldn’t need much more to grab a slice of the prize money, but might need luck in running.
5. Approval – 6/1 (Best odds via Unibet)
Looked below his best on return at Newmarket, though clearly retains potential based on last season’s efforts. One poor run shouldn’t define him and with Tom Marquand booked, a bounce back could be on the cards.
6. See That Storm – 7/2 (Top price from bet365)
On a remarkable upward curve, landing four straight wins including a C&D success. He’s a real contender once again, especially if allowed to dictate terms. A bold effort is anticipated.
7. Romieu – 6/1 (Top value via BetVictor)
Hasn’t quite backed up his earlier form this season, but he’s lightly raced and open to better still. If sharper this time, he could surprise a few more fancied names near the business end.
8. Born Ruler – 8/1 (Best odds at bet365)
From a yard known for gradual improvement, and his recent effort was respectable given the circumstances. If the tempo suits his staying style, he’s got the stamina to be in the mix late on.
9. Liberty Coach – 8/1 (Available through Unibet)
Has turned a corner over the winter with a string of solid efforts. He returned in decent form and still has scope off this mark. Don’t rule him out as a lively threat.
10. Qitaal – 14/1 (Top price with BetVictor)
Charlie Johnston’s runner has been tried at various trips and found things tough at times. He’s now well weighted and could offer value if returning to previous form at this track.
11. Lord Protector – 20/1 (Best value at bet365)
Experienced campaigner who’s often there or thereabouts. Doesn’t win often but tends to run honestly, and a strong gallop would bring his stamina into play late in the race.
Verdict
See That Storm has the right blend of form, pace versatility, and confidence to land this prestigious handicap, especially following a string of dominant displays including over course and distance. At 7/2, he offers value despite the rise in class. Liberty Coach could be the one to press him hardest, given his progression, while Sir Lowry’s Pass should also be taken seriously now fully tuned up after a winning reappearance.

1. Staincliff – 9/1 (Top odds with bet365)
Kicked off his season with a solid third after showing signs of life late last campaign. From a yard that targets these sprint handicaps well, he could be dangerous if the leaders go off too hard.
2. Brave Empire – 25/1 (Best price via BetVictor)
Has struggled to make an impression in recent starts and was never at the races on seasonal return. Needs a revival in form and the drop in class might help, but others make stronger cases.
3. Mythical Phoenix – 13/2 (Available from Unibet)
A model of consistency last term, hitting the frame regularly in competitive company. Hasn’t been seen for a while but could go well fresh and remains attractively weighted on past efforts.
4. Azure Angel – 9/2 (Top value at bet365)
Caught the eye in deeper contests last year and should strip fitter for a recent outing. If able to reproduce the form she hinted at during her three-year-old campaign, she can be right in the mix.
5. Archduke Ferdinand – 13/2 (Best price with BetVictor)
Rarely runs a bad race here and holds course-and-distance success. Could go under the radar and shouldn’t be dismissed if the race sets up to suit his running style.
6. Diligent Resdev – 5/2 (Top odds via bet365)
Scored well at Ayr in the autumn and shaped with promise both starts this term. Proven over this trip, stays on strongly, and has every chance of making it five wins from 11.
7. Tough Enough – 20/1 (Best price at Unibet)
Still lightly raced for his age and hinted at potential in better races. Will need to produce something more now but could run better than his price suggests if building on that last effort.
8. Filly One – 9/2 (Available through BetVictor)
Arrives with confidence high after an assertive victory last time out. Should remain competitive under a penalty, and PJ McDonald retains the ride which is a plus.
9. Admiral D – 14/1 (Top value with bet365)
Dropped down the ratings and starting to look well treated. Didn’t fire on reappearance, but any return to previous best would put him bang in contention.
10. Cash In – 16/1 (Best odds via Unibet)
Had excuses last time after a slow start, and looks better judged on his win late last season. Could spring a surprise if sharper now, especially from a low draw.
Verdict
Filly One looks like a sprinter heading in the right direction and is fancied to follow up her recent success at 9/2. Her finishing kick impressed last time and with a handy pitch early, she can go in again. Mythical Phoenix should not be ignored, particularly if tuned up after a break, while Diligent Resdev deserves plenty of respect and will be a popular choice off the back of a consistent profile.
