Battle Of Maldon – 2/1 bet365
Plenty to like about his opening run—likely to take another step forward and hard to dismiss.
Dial Me In – 7/2 Betvictor
Appears to be improving and should go close if building on his first run.
Espritroyale – 12/1 Unibet
Clearly has talent—wouldn’t be a shock if she hit the frame here.
Sanctijude – 8/1 bet365
Potential improver—should not be overlooked in this field.
Nephin Mountain – 25/1 Betvictor
Needs to find a good bit more but worth keeping an eye on for the future.
Sound Bite – 5/1 bet365
Caught the eye when last seen—should be in the shake-up again.
The Holy Apostle – 6/1 Betvictor
Knows what the game is about now—has each-way possibilities here.
Gooddayatblackrock – 66/1 Unibet
Looks up against it—huge odds reflect the task ahead.
Sara La Belle – 40/1 bet365
More required than shown so far—hard to recommend at this stage.
She’s Too Kool – 14/1 Betvictor
Could outrun her price—worth considering for minor money.
Verdict
Sound Bite looks a smart prospect after an eye-catching run and can take a big step forward today. Battle Of Maldon should be a major player once again, with Dial Me In firmly in the mix. Sanctijude and The Holy Apostle are not out of it either and could offer value in the places.

Zephron – 28/1 bet365
Plenty to prove after some below-par efforts—would need to rediscover spark.
Ferrybank – 12/1 Betvictor
Capable on his day—dangerous if bouncing back to best.
Prince Of Eyeries – 10/1 Unibet
Recent winner and arrives in good form—has to be respected again.
Finsceal Annie – 11/4 bet365
Progressive filly—looks the one to beat if continuing her upward trend.
Lucky Out – 20/1 Betvictor
Needs a bit more based on recent runs but not one to completely rule out.
Nedita – 25/1 Unibet
Won two starts back—capable if bringing that form here.
Harry The Rogue – 5/1 bet365
Consistent and competitive—should be firmly in the mix.
I’m Spartacus – 14/1 Betvictor
Can run well if getting a clear passage—place claims.
Ina Mina – 33/1 bet365
Would need a career-best to land a blow in this contest.
Clonmacash – 8/1 Unibet
Threat if finding his best—one for the shortlist.
Punk Poet – 16/1 bet365
Capable on his day—looks more of an each-way option.
Brains – 22/1 Betvictor
Form a bit patchy—needs to step up to trouble the principals.
Play It Again Zaam – 100/1 bet365
A surprise winner if striking here—outsider of the field.
Rosato – 33/1 Unibet
Needs to find more to get competitive in this company.
Yaxchilan – 6/1 bet365
In fine heart—solid contender who should go well again.
Amanirenas – 16/1 Betvictor
Could surprise at a price if getting a strong pace to chase.
Cu Chulainn – 14/1 bet365
Likely to need some luck from the draw—but capable of a bold run.
Verdict
Harry The Rogue looks poised to run another big race and gets the nod in a wide-open handicap. Finsceal Annie should be the chief danger, while Prince Of Eyeries arrives in good form and can’t be ignored. Yaxchilan is also worth keeping onside after his latest win.

1. Acapulco Bay – Best odds: 15/8 – Bet365
Aidan O’Brien’s colt has already shown a smart level of ability, landing a maiden and placing in decent company. Ryan Moore stays loyal, and he’s likely to appreciate the test of stamina this trip demands.
Back him with: Bet365
Our View: Will be popular again, and deservedly so—he brings proven class but isn’t unbeatable.
2. Arouet – Best odds: 11/2 – Unibet
Patrick Twomey’s charge is on a steep upward trajectory following an eye-catching win. W J Lee continues the partnership on this smooth-travelling son of Almanzor, who looks sure to stay.
Bet via: Unibet
Our View: Capable of a big run if maintaining progression—respected in this deeper test.
3. Rock Of Cashel – Best odds: 15/2 – Betvictor
Stable companion to Acapulco Bay, this O’Brien runner has some good form in the book without yet putting it all together. Wayne Lordan is booked again, but blinkers need to make a difference.
Best with: Betvictor
Our View: Possesses ability but remains a bit of a puzzle—wouldn’t be a total shock if he bounced back.
4. Titanium Emperor – Best odds: 10/1 – Bet365
Represents the Adrian Murray yard and has shown some ability despite mixed results. Chris Hayes takes the ride on a colt still learning his craft.
Place bet at: Bet365
Our View: Faces stronger rivals today but could sneak into the frame if improving under patient tactics.
5. What’s Your Game – Best odds: 14/1 – Betvictor
Boasts a couple of wins and returns quickly after a good effort last time. Colin Keane is a notable booking, though a little more might be needed to figure here.
Wager with: Betvictor
Our View: May struggle to match the top few but has done little wrong—outside place possibilities.
6. Zahrann – Best odds: 11/2 – Bet365
J P Murtagh’s lightly raced colt steps up in grade after a dominant maiden victory. Ben Coen retains the ride, and the way he finished at Cork suggests he’ll thrive at this longer distance.
Go with: Bet365
Our View: Plenty to like about his profile—an exciting prospect with more to offer.
7. Bay Colony – Best odds: 33/1 – Unibet
Tough and genuine, this J A Stack-trained runner got the job done in a handicap last time but this is a much sterner examination. Seamie Heffernan stays on.
Bet through: Unibet
Our View: Will need to produce a career-best effort—up against it but not entirely without hope.
8. Dawn Spirit – Best odds: 8/1 – Bet365
Joseph O’Brien’s improving sort arrives off the back of a stylish success. Dylan Browne McMonagle takes the reins again, and there could be more left in the tank.
Back him at: Bet365
Our View: Not far behind the principals—each-way material with the right setup.
9. Nuit – Best odds: 33/1 – Betvictor
Henry De Bromhead’s colt has put up a few decent efforts in defeat, but this Listed test looks like a serious challenge. Gary Carroll knows him well and should help him settle.
Try with: Betvictor
Our View: Faces a big uphill task—unlikely to land a blow unless others disappoint.
Verdict
Zahrann made a strong impression last time out and looks well suited by this rise in distance, making him the pick in a competitive renewal. Dawn Spirit has the right profile to build further, while Arouet remains a threat if the tempo is truly run.

1. Norwalk Havoc – Best odds: 10/1 – Bet365
Mrs John Harrington’s representative wrapped up last campaign with a strong success and returns for another crack at black-type company. Scott McCullagh claims 3lb and gets a useful inside draw to work from.
Recommended with: Bet365
Our View: Solid credentials on past form—dangerous if the pace collapses and he finishes strongly.
2. Bravais – Best odds: 5/1 – Betvictor
G M Lyons brings this son of Lope De Vega back quickly after a smart win last time out. Colin Keane retains the ride, and although this is tougher, the upward curve suggests he’s a serious threat.
Back through: Betvictor
Our View: On the rise and likely to be involved at the business end if reproducing that latest effort.
3. Cristal Clere – Best odds: 25/1 – Bet365
Lightly campaigned in recent seasons, this veteran doesn’t win often but occasionally grabs a place in stronger fields. Sean Bowen is booked to steer, though a bold showing looks a long shot.
Place wager at: Bet365
Our View: Needs others to underperform to land a blow—outside claims at best.
4. Layfayette – Best odds: 20/1 – Unibet
Noel Meade’s experienced runner has mixed it in Group contests and might find this an easier level. Dylan Browne McMonagle is on board again, but recent form has been uninspiring.
Go with: Unibet
Our View: Capable on his day but hard to catch right—chance if bouncing back.
5. Azada – Best odds: 7/1 – Betvictor
From the trusted D K Weld operation, this filly steps up in grade after a fair seasonal return. Chris Hayes knows her well, and improvement can be expected now that she’s tightened up.
Bet via: Betvictor
Our View: Not without a squeak if things fall into place—definitely one to keep an eye on in the market.
6. Green Impact – Best odds: 10/11 – Bet365
This three-year-old looks the standout on paper after progressing nicely last year and shaping with promise on reappearance. Shane Foley stays loyal, and the Harrington stable remains in cracking form.
Top pick with: Bet365
Our View: Everything points to another forward showing—hard to oppose with his blend of speed and scope.
7. Currawood – Best odds: 9/2 – Unibet
W J Lee is aboard this upwardly mobile three-year-old who’s already collected a trio of wins in short order. Trained by Paddy Twomey, this one has earned his shot at this level and should go forward early.
Try with: Unibet
Our View: Has plenty going for him—big run anticipated if he handles the company rise.
8. Eastwatch – Best odds: 9/1 – Bet365
Lightly raced and with potential still untapped, this Andrew Slattery-trained colt made the perfect return to action recently. Faces a stronger field now but looks an exciting prospect with a high cruising speed.
Suggested bookmaker: Bet365
Our View: Progressing the right way and could be an each-way angle if he copes with the jump in grade.
Verdict
Green Impact arrives as the most proven contender and should take all the beating if reproducing his best. However, Currawood appeals as a real danger with untapped upside and could give the favourite something to think about. For those seeking longer odds, Eastwatch might still be hiding more improvement.

1. Pierre Royal – Best odds: 9/2 – Bet365
A stylish maiden winner last time out, this colt from the Weld yard remains on an upward curve. Chris Hayes retains the ride, and stepping into handicaps looks a logical move.
Back with: Bet365
Our View: Could have plenty more to come; a strong chance to follow up if things go to plan.
2. Cap Saint Martin – Best odds: 13/2 – Betvictor
Joseph O’Brien’s charge shaped with encouragement on return and looks nicely treated for his second handicap appearance. Dylan Browne McMonagle is back aboard, which is always a positive.
Play through: Betvictor
Our View: One to respect; sharp enough to get involved if stepping forward again.
3. Wizard Of Odds – Best odds: 16/1 – Unibet
Has run some fair races without finding the winning post of late. With cheekpieces applied again and a decent draw, he could go better than recent form suggests.
Wager at: Unibet
Our View: Needs to bounce back, but not without a squeak for a minor place.
4. J M’s Joy – Best odds: 10/1 – Bet365
Things didn’t go to plan last time, but Gavin Cromwell’s runner had been progressing well before that. Gary Carroll keeps the partnership intact.
Back with: Bet365
Our View: Dangerous if rediscovering earlier sparkle—can’t be dismissed lightly.
5. Sound Of Lightning – Best odds: 11/2 – Bet365
Donnacha O’Brien’s representative caught the eye when getting off the mark on his third outing. Gavin Ryan stays in the saddle, and further improvement is expected.
Bet here: Bet365
Our View: Has the profile of a horse still progressing—must be taken seriously.
6. Monotone – Best odds: 12/1 – Betvictor
Yet to really deliver on early promise, but recent efforts have been a touch better. Declan McDonogh continues the association, and cheekpieces could help his focus.
Go via: Betvictor
Our View: Outside claims if finding a bit more at the finish—worth a look at the prices.
7. Daler – Best odds: 10/1 – Unibet
From the Lyons stable, this colt ran with credit last time and might be nearing his peak now. Colin Keane’s presence is a major plus.
Go to: Unibet
Our View: Needs a clear passage but won’t be far away with luck on his side.
8. Iowntheball – Best odds: 10/1 – Bet365
Has shown consistent form in competitive company, including a solid third on reappearance. W J Lee rides again, and the stable continues to send out winners.
Use: Bet365
Our View: Competitive each-way option—can give a good account again.
9. Ja’marr – Best odds: 12/1 – Betvictor
This runner has won twice already but struggled to make an impact in recent higher-grade races. Luke McAteer now takes over in the saddle.
Back with: Betvictor
Our View: Has the ability, though may need everything to fall right to get involved here.
10. Lady In Paris – Best odds: 10/1 – Unibet
Lightly raced filly from the Harrington yard who shaped better than the bare result last time. Shane Foley remains aboard and she could take a step forward now.
Go with: Unibet
Our View: One for the shortlist if she sharpens up on her reappearance.
11. Its All Peachy – Best odds: 10/1 – Bet365
Running consistently in recent starts and looks poised to strike soon. Jamie Powell takes off a handy few pounds, and she’s clearly enjoying her racing now.
Try: Bet365
Our View: Each-way play with a touch of upside—could be thereabouts late on.
12. Echinacea – Best odds: 20/1 – Betvictor
Struggled to make an impression so far but may enjoy the extra yardage. Nathan Crosse keeps the partnership alive as they search for improvement.
Bet with: Betvictor
Our View: Needs to find a gear she hasn’t shown yet—unlikely but not entirely hopeless.
Verdict
Sound Of Lightning appeals most here, with that recent win suggesting more is to come. Pierre Royal remains unexposed and could easily give him a run for the money. For each-way backers, Its All Peachy has a solid profile and may reward persistence.

1. Bill Silvers – Best odds: 12/1 – Betvictor
William Durkan’s gelding has been well held of late, but this drop into handicap company could bring about a turnaround. Ronan Whelan takes the reins, and he’s drawn kindly.
Go with: Betvictor
Our View: Not without a chance if returning to earlier form—worth a second look at double figures.
2. The Real Screamer – Best odds: 8/1 – Bet365
Paul Flynn’s four-year-old bounced back in style to score last time and comes here with confidence high. Dylan Browne McMonagle retains the ride and is a key booking.
Back with: Bet365
Our View: Clearly in good heart; should go well again if handling the higher mark.
3. Flying Bay – Best odds: 14/1 – Unibet
Lightly raced and clearly talented, this filly made a good impression when last seen. Ben Coen stays loyal and a decent showing wouldn’t surprise.
Bet through: Unibet
Our View: Potential dark horse; capable of making her presence felt if fit and ready after the break.
4. Alpha Capture – Best odds: 9/2 – Bet365
Now under the care of Willie Mullins, this recruit has posted some eye-catching efforts in the past. Colin Keane’s presence in the saddle is significant.
Play with: Bet365
Our View: Stands out on previous ratings—big player if tuned up for his return.
5. Tachos – Best odds: 9/1 – Betvictor
D K Weld’s charge was consistent last term, and Chris Hayes is booked again for his seasonal debut. He usually travels well and finishes with purpose.
Try: Betvictor
Our View: Could hit the frame if he’s ready to go first time out; stays the trip well.
6. Zephron – Best odds: 20/1 – Bet365
Hasn’t shown much lately but does have a past victory over course and distance. Leigh Roche takes the ride for Denis Cullen.
Wager at: Bet365
Our View: Needs to rediscover old spark; a return to form would surprise but not shock.
7. Tribal Moon – Best odds: 12/1 – Betvictor
Put in a few solid performances this spring and keeps trending the right way. Jamie Powell’s claim makes him an appealing lightweight.
Back with: Betvictor
Our View: Consistent performer and likely to give another honest effort—place claims.
8. Kaptain Bay – Best odds: 14/1 – Unibet
Unexposed on the Flat but brings some hurdling experience to the table. Noel Meade’s charge may find this more manageable than previous tasks.
Best via: Unibet
Our View: Could be interesting if transferring jumping fitness back to this code.
9. Stormie Outlook – Best odds: 16/1 – Bet365
Better known over timber, but has shown enough on the level to warrant respect. Seamie Heffernan is back aboard and the stable is in fair form.
Go with: Bet365
Our View: Wouldn’t be the biggest shock to see him sneak a place.
10. Zipster – Best odds: 13/2 – Unibet
Gerard O’Leary’s runner is gradually improving, and the cheekpieces seemed to help last time out. Shane Foley keeps the ride.
Bet on: Unibet
Our View: Shaping well in recent starts—could be ready to strike soon.
11. Moyassr – Best odds: 14/1 – Betvictor
John E & Thomas Kiely’s entry has been a bit below form this season but retains potential. W J Lee’s booking keeps interest alive.
Go with: Betvictor
Our View: Capable if returning to earlier promise—wouldn’t rule out improvement.
12. Loingseoir – Best odds: 12/1 – Bet365
The veteran in this lineup, who can still produce solid efforts when conditions suit. Nicola Burns claims 7lb and that could prove vital.
Place bet at: Bet365
Our View: Reliable sort; each-way shout with the right run.
13. Space Warrior – Best odds: 16/1 – Betvictor
Recent efforts have left plenty to be desired, but a return to handicap company might be what’s needed. Declan McDonogh is booked.
Play through: Betvictor
Our View: Needs a big turnaround—others make more appeal on current evidence.
14. Speckled Meadow – Best odds: 16/1 – Bet365
Hasn’t quite hit the frame in recent months but did show flashes of ability last season. Wayne Hassett claims 5lb.
Back at: Bet365
Our View: Wouldn’t need massive improvement to be involved—outsider to note.
15. Captain Hanley – Best odds: 20/1 – Unibet
Adrian McGuinness’s gelding is still lightly raced but has yet to hit top stride. Adam Caffrey takes the ride in this competitive field.
Use: Unibet
Our View: Improvement needed; probably best watched for now.
16. Pillar Of Hope – Best odds: 14/1 – Betvictor
Two solid efforts this term suggest he’s ready to strike soon. Patrick McGettigan’s claim helps lighten the load.
Try: Betvictor
Our View: In good nick; capable of going close with a clear path through.
17. Rampage – Best odds: 16/1 – Bet365
Course and distance winner who has struggled for consistency. James Ryan is back on board.
Wager via: Bet365
Our View: Has the odd good run in him, but tough to predict.
18. Unterberg – Best odds: 14/1 – Unibet
Laura Hourigan’s runner produced a solid effort last time and could be building toward something. Rory Mulligan claims 7lb again.
Bet with: Unibet
Our View: One of the more intriguing outsiders—don’t ignore lightly.
19. Whist – Best odds: 20/1 – Betvictor
Still relatively unexposed and returns with headgear re-applied. Rory Cleary is on board for Sheila Lavery.
Place bet with: Betvictor
Our View: Has room to improve—may surprise at a price if things fall right.
Verdict
Alpha Capture makes a lot of appeal for the Mullins/Keane combination and looks well placed to deliver. Zipster is progressing the right way and has every chance of hitting the frame, while Tribal Moon remains a consistent and dangerous each-way angle.
