The full picture in one place
The BT4Y Tipster Directory sits at the centre of two connected experiences. Use it to discover which tipsters are worth following — then join the free competition to build a public record of your own.
Tipster League Competition
Two live arenas are open right now — the Summer Tipster League (£1,500 prize pool) and the World Cup Competition (£5,500 prize pool). Every pick placed in the competition feeds directly into public tipster profiles. No deposit, no real-money staking. Free to join for anyone aged 18+.

Expert vs community tipsters
Not all profiles carry the same weight. Here is what the two labels mean and how to read the difference when deciding who to follow.
BT4Y Expert
BT4Y Experts are editorial contributors to BettingTips4You — journalists, analysts and specialist writers whose credentials have been reviewed by the BT4Y team before they are assigned the Expert badge. Their profiles carry verified bios, specialist focus areas and a track record tied to both site content and competition performance.
- Credentials reviewed by the BT4Y editorial team
- Specialist focus (La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, UK football)
- Verified bios with professional background
- Competition performance tracked alongside editorial output
Community Tipster
Community Tipsters are BT4Y readers who have joined the Tipster League, chosen to make their profile public and built a bet history the community can follow. Badge and bio are self-set; credibility is earned purely through the transparency of the data. Several community tipsters currently outperform BT4Y Experts on ROI.
- Open to any registered user aged 18+
- Performance data is the only metric that matters
- Some community tipsters post a positive ROI across 40+ bets
- Bio and specialist focus self-declared
What to look for in a tipster
Three data points that matter more than anything else when assessing a competition tipster’s record.
ROI over a meaningful sample
A 100% ROI from two bets tells you almost nothing. Look for positive ROI sustained across at least 20–30 settled picks before drawing any conclusions. The best tipsters in this directory are running 10%+ ROI over 40+ bets.
Strike rate in context
A 77% strike rate sounds excellent until you realise those winners are priced at 1.10. What matters is whether the odds backed match the real probability. A 43% strike rate at average odds of 2.50 is often more valuable than an 80% rate at 1.20.
Consistency, not one hot run
Check how many competitions a tipster has been active in and whether their profit is built across multiple events or concentrated in a single lucky week. A positive average rank across several rebuilds is a stronger signal than one explosive leaderboard climb.
