1. Crowd Quake – 4/7 (Best odds with bet365)
Comes into this off the back of back-to-back victories and is clearly thriving. Has found another weak race and carries a penalty, but remains well in under the conditions. Clearly the one to beat again.
2. Mrs Meader – 12/1 (Best price via BetVictor)
Veteran mare who has tasted success at this venue in the past. She’s not the force of old, but ran respectably last time and might appreciate this longer trip on drying ground. Each-way claims.
3. Incan Empire – 16/1 (Top value from Unibet)
Hasn’t made much of a dent in his races this term, but there were glimmers of promise earlier in the year. Trainer’s runners often come on for a few spins, and blinkers might sharpen him up.
4. Tazaman – 10/1 (Available at bet365)
Reliable type who tends to be thereabouts and seems to relish a stamina test. Finished with purpose last time and looks likely to be staying on again in the closing stages. Could be a danger if the favourite falters.
5. Walk The Moon – 15/2 (Top odds with Unibet)
Bit inconsistent on paper, but recent runs suggest he’s not far off a competitive mark. If he settles early and finds rhythm, he could be one to grab a place at a decent price.
6. Daring Leader – 10/1 (Best value via BetVictor)
Has shown more since returning to action, posting a decent third last time out. Stays this trip and appears to be trending in the right direction. Has a live chance if improving again.
7. Forest Haze – 16/1 (Best odds at bet365)
Struggled for form since returning from a break but does represent a respected stable. Steps back in distance could be a help, though he looks up against it on current evidence.
8. Temur Khan – 33/1 (Top price from Unibet)
At the veteran stage and hasn’t shown much life in his latest appearances. Would need a career-best effort to make an impression here, though he’s a former course scorer.
Verdict
Crowd Quake has turned the corner in fine style and looks hard to oppose at 4/7, even under a penalty. He’s well treated compared to future marks and can make it three wins on the bounce. Tazaman could be the one to pick up the pieces if the favourite underperforms, while Walk The Moon may offer place value at a bigger price in what looks a race lacking depth.

1. Be An Angel – 6/1 (Best price with bet365)
She’s shown flashes of ability, including a fair effort in better company at Bath. If she can settle early, she could find this slightly easier assignment more to her liking and finish well.
2. Saguaro Blossom – 5/2 (Top odds at Unibet)
Didn’t make much noise on debut but has looked more assured since, and her latest effort suggests a maiden like this is well within her compass. Likely contender if continuing her upward curve.
3. Wind Of War – 33/1 (Best value via BetVictor)
This daughter of Tasleet is still learning on the job and hasn’t yet shown enough to suggest she can get involved. May need further experience before becoming competitive.
4. Marsh Meadow – 14/1 (Top price from bet365)
Took a step forward on her second appearance and there may be more to come. Has early speed and could be one to surprise at bigger odds if getting a good position early.
5. Spirit Of Jenny – 50/1 (Best odds with BetVictor)
Yet to get involved in either start and would need a big leap forward to threaten the principals. Likely outsider again unless she finds dramatic improvement.
6. Velvet Whisper – 7/2 (Available via Unibet)
Looked green but not devoid of ability in her two-year-old run. Makes seasonal return here and, if more streetwise now, could go very close with Tudhope a notable booking.
7. Antalya – 4/1 (Top odds from bet365)
Has put up a pair of strong performances in maidens and now looks ready to strike. Should be fully fit now and her yard is in fine form. Very much one for the shortlist.
8. Linear Spirit – 7/1 (Best price with BetVictor)
Shaped well on her last run when keeping on steadily. With a clearer run and a stronger pace, she could improve again. Not without a squeak at each-way odds.
9. Princess Pw – 15/2 (Top odds via bet365)
Placed a few times in this grade and looks dependable if not spectacular. Likely to run her race and could nick a minor placing if others underperform.
Verdict
Velvet Whisper can make the most of her return to action with improvement likely, and at 7/2, she looks to offer decent value in this company. Antalya is feared most based on consistency and her ability to stay on late, while Linear Spirit is a lively outsider who could go close if things fall right tactically. Expect a tight finish between the front trio.

1. Aurel – 15/8 (Best odds via bet365)
Returned with a solid fourth after ending last term with a debut win. Needs to shoulder a penalty here but ran with credit in a deeper race last time. May appreciate the longer trip now and remains with potential.
2. Boatswain – 5/6 (Top price at Unibet)
Impressive debut scorer and followed that up with a respectable effort under a penalty. He’s a big, galloping type who should relish this stiffer test and looks the one they all have to beat again.
3. Falmouth Lad – 20/1 (Best value through BetVictor)
Didn’t shape without promise on debut but has plenty to learn and lacks the experience of some rivals. Will likely improve with time and racing but may find this company a little too sharp for now.
4. Relocal – 5/1 (Top odds at bet365)
Showed ability on debut in a well-contested maiden and comes from a stable that excels with this type. Likely to take a significant step forward and could pose a real threat if handling the extra yardage.
5. Singing In Paris – 25/1 (Available at BetVictor)
Still raw and never really got involved on debut. Trainer’s horses tend to come on for a run, so a better showing is expected, but he might need another outing before showing his full potential.
6. Torriti – 66/1 (Best price via Unibet)
Beaten out of sight on first run and difficult to make a case for here. Likely to struggle again unless showing unexpected improvement. A watching brief is advised.
Verdict
Relocal looks a fascinating contender at 5/1 and could be the one to surprise the short-priced favourites. His opening effort was encouraging, and further progress is very possible under Roger Varian’s guidance. Boatswain remains the standard-setter after two solid runs and deserves maximum respect, while Aurel should not be ruled out if improving for this longer trip. It may be closer than the betting implies.

1. Pasha – 12/1 (Best price with BetVictor)
Hasn’t fired in two starts this season, but signs from last year suggest she has something to offer at this level. May benefit from a stronger pace and a bit of cover. Place claims if bouncing back.
2. Sea Regal – 5/1 (Available via Unibet)
Showed some decent form last summer and returned with a quiet effort, though it might have been needed. Has drawn the inside and gets Jamie Spencer to ride — expect her to be held up for a late rattle.
3. Two B Tanned – 5/2 (Top odds at bet365)
A filly on a hot streak, having racked up three straight victories. Hard to ignore in this form, though this is a slight rise in class. Still progressing and could easily take another step forward.
4. Hackney Diamonds – 8/1 (Best value through Unibet)
Returns from a break and holds course form. Was competitive in novice company and now tries handicapping again. Not without talent and could surprise if tuned up for this comeback.
5. Mandana – 3/1 (Top price from bet365)
Took her maiden well before going down narrowly in a handicap. Has pace and tactical versatility, and her trainer often keeps them improving. Should be right in the thick of it.
6. Nakaaha – 5/1 (Best odds via BetVictor)
Finished a close third when last seen and represents a yard whose runners usually come on with racing. Daniel Tudhope keeps the ride, and there’s every reason to believe further progress is coming.
7. Tequila – 12/1 (Top value with bet365)
Yet to land a blow but has shaped with promise in maidens. Now steps into handicap company and gets a chance off a fair mark. Could go well if sharper with the experience under her belt.
8. Motabaah – 16/1 (Available at Unibet)
Well-beaten on reappearance but hinted at potential in the backend of her juvenile campaign. She’ll need to find more to be involved, but could sneak into the frame if others falter.
Verdict
Mandana gets the nod at 3/1, as her profile screams further improvement and her latest second was full of promise. She should relish conditions here and looks well-handicapped. Two B Tanned demands respect with her winning form, though she faces stronger opposition now. Sea Regal is one to watch for late headway and may run better than her odds suggest.

1. Arabian Sun – 8/1 (Best odds at bet365)
Clive Cox’s colt looked progressive last term but returns from a lengthy absence. He’s capable of further improvement, though may just need this to sharpen up. Still, his class could bring him into the picture.
2. Sea Baaeed – 10/1 (Top price from Unibet)
Finished second last time in a small-field affair that wasn’t run to suit. Should enjoy a stronger pace today and looks one that can step forward again with conditions more in his favour.
3. Huscal – 8/1 (Available via BetVictor)
Put in a strong shift on seasonal reappearance and wasn’t disgraced on latest outing either. From a yard in solid form, and this sharper track could help him travel more comfortably before launching a challenge.
4. Blue Zodiac – 20/1 (Best price at Unibet)
Scored impressively last summer but didn’t build on that before the campaign ended. Needs to rediscover that form and faces plenty of competition here. Would be a surprise winner unless bouncing back big.
5. Fondo Blanco – 7/2 (Top odds with bet365)
Ultra-consistent performer who has been knocking on the door in handicaps this season. He’s sure to be in the thick of things again, especially with conditions looking ideal. Obvious player.
6. Crestofdistinction – 5/1 (Best value via BetVictor)
Built on a couple of solid placed efforts to get off the mark recently and looks the type to continue progressing. Ridden with confidence last time and could feature prominently again.
7. Prince Of India – 6/1 (Available from Unibet)
Tough and consistent sort who has improved steadily with each run this spring. Was game in the finish last time out and may find more here with a similar effort.
8. Santa Savana – 10/1 (Top price at bet365)
Found only one too good on last outing and has a course win to her name. Her form is steadily improving and, with a good draw and George Wood back aboard, she looks a lively contender.
9. Peter The Wolf – 16/1 (Best odds with BetVictor)
Hit the board on a few occasions and wasn’t far away in a better race last time. Still searching for a breakthrough, but likely to run better than his odds suggest.
10. Balzarini – 33/1 (Top value via Unibet)
Looks exposed compared to several here and hasn’t been hitting the frame often. Would need a major turnaround to figure and may find this too sharp.
11. Hucklesbrook – 8/1 (Best price from bet365)
Raced fresh last time but likely to come on from that. Ended last year on a high and brings scope for better now that he’s fitter. Interesting each-way player.
12. Jewel Of London – 33/1 (Available at BetVictor)
Faded tamely on return after some promising performances as a juvenile. Needs to strip much fitter this time, and even then, others seem likelier on paper.
13. Platinum Crystal – 20/1 (Best odds via Unibet)
Took a step back after a stylish win two starts ago. Capable on her day, but consistency is a concern. Shouldn’t be overlooked entirely if she gets a strong early gallop to chase.
Verdict
Santa Savana looks primed to strike at 10/1, having shaped with purpose in recent outings. She’s drawn to attack and looks ready to peak. Fondo Blanco remains rock-solid and deserves respect once again, while Hucklesbrook could take a big step forward now fitter, offering value for each-way backers. Expect a high-paced battle with plenty of contenders in contention late.

1. Global Skies – 20/1 (Top price with Unibet)
Lightly raced on the Flat and mostly campaigned over hurdles last season. May be using this as a pipe-opener after time away and has more to prove than most at present. Market check advised.
2. Dutch Decoy – 9/1 (Best odds via bet365)
The veteran of the field has not quite recaptured past sparkle this year, though still well treated on peak efforts. If he can settle into a rhythm, he’s got the ability to make an impact late.
3. Duke’s Command – 6/1 (Available through BetVictor)
Returns from a lengthy break but shaped well in novice events when last seen. Enters handicaps off what could be a lenient mark and is partnered by Tudhope, which catches the eye. Unexposed and dangerous.
4. Cheshire Dancer – 8/1 (Best price at Unibet)
Found things happening a bit quickly on return but should strip fitter now. A strong-finishing second here last year and if reproducing that kind of effort, he’s more than capable of making his presence felt.
5. Midnight’s Dream – 4/1 (Top odds from bet365)
Tasted success on penultimate start before finding things tough up in class. Back down in grade today, and clearly retains ability. From a smart yard and Ray Dawson retains the ride, which is encouraging.
6. Encourageable – 5/1 (Best value via BetVictor)
Caught the eye when running on late last time out. Previous efforts left a bit to be desired, but he’s now back on a good mark. Rossa Ryan takes over in the saddle, and if he builds on that latest effort, he’s a danger.
7. Jodhpur Blue – 12/1 (Available at bet365)
Looked progressive at the back end of last season but failed to fire when returning to action. Has the tools to rebound, especially if allowed a softer lead or a steadier gallop early on.
8. Shaladar – 7/1 (Top odds via Unibet)
Consistent sort who often finishes off strongly. Goes well fresh and shaped nicely when last seen. If the pace collapses late, he’ll be finishing faster than most.
9. Most Wanted – 25/1 (Best price with BetVictor)
Returned after a long layoff with a modest effort and may still need more time to rediscover sharpness. Others look stronger for win purposes, but has the back class to place if improving suddenly.
Verdict
Duke’s Command appeals most at 6/1, stepping into handicap company for the first time with untapped potential. He’s likely to be primed for this after a patient campaign and looks the value play. Midnight’s Dream has the form in the book and shouldn’t be far away dropped back in grade, while Encourageable is another that could pose a serious challenge if building on his latest finish. It’s a race where positioning and pace will be everything.

1. Little Tiger – 11/4 (Top odds via bet365)
Returned with a solid third after a winter break, and previously ran well here over course and distance. Back in calmer waters and still on a winning mark, he looks poised to mount another bold bid.
2. Wyld Bill – 25/1 (Best price with BetVictor)
Hasn’t shown much since returning from a break, and his profile lacks consistency. On a basement rating now, but difficult to support unless showing a sudden revival.
3. Mon Etoile – 10/1 (Available from Unibet)
Beaten favourite two starts back but hasn’t kicked on as expected. May need more ease in the ground and possibly a stronger pace, though Rossa Ryan is an eye-catching booking.
4. Hawa Jumeirah – 16/1 (Best value via bet365)
Versatile filly who has produced a few fair runs at this level. Can travel kindly in her races and from stall 1, she might get a soft lead. Place possibilities if allowed to dictate terms.
5. Guinness Lad – 11/2 (Top odds at BetVictor)
Back on track with a solid second at Bath, and now repeats the trip from a handy draw. Likely to be competitive again, and his mark leaves the door open for another bold performance.
6. Onlyriversrunfree – 20/1 (Best odds via Unibet)
Still lightly raced and may have needed both outings this term. Didn’t threaten last time but could be sharper now. Outsider appeal for those chasing value.
7. Help Me Rhonda – 15/2 (Top price at bet365)
Consistent filly who gives her running more often than not. Hasn’t had much go her way lately but remains on a fair mark and could go close with a bit more luck in running.
8. Dogged – 12/1 (Best value from BetVictor)
Finished down the field on seasonal reappearance but holds several pieces of form from last year that give him a shout. Blinkers return today, which might spark a better showing.
9. Douglas Dc – 5/1 (Best odds with Unibet)
Holds recent placed form and looks primed for a breakthrough win. Often finds one or two too strong but keeps plugging away. This may be his best opportunity to date.
10. Magna Vega – 14/1 (Available via bet365)
Appeared to run better than the bare result last time and could be rounding into form. Not the most obvious on paper, but wouldn’t be the biggest shock if he snuck a place at long odds.
11. Mr Trick – 13/2 (Top odds from Unibet)
Has had a busy campaign and continues to run with credit. Competitive off his current mark and if he settles in midfield, he could stay on into the frame late on.
Verdict
Douglas Dc makes strong appeal at 5/1, bringing consistent form into a field where few stand out. He’s knocking at the door and may finally be ready to get his head in front. Little Tiger remains a big danger, especially if repeating the form of his last run, while Guinness Lad can go close again off a similar mark. For those seeking value, Mr Trick might reward each-way support in a race that should produce a close finish.
