🏇 Blazing Court – Best Odds: [10/1] (Betvictor)
This experienced seven-year-old has run respectably in his latest efforts without quite threatening to win. Trained and ridden by John Dixon, he’s likely to give his usual honest performance but may just find one or two too strong in the finish.
🏇 Emily Love – Best Odds: [2/5] (bet365)
Fresh off an impressive victory, this six-year-old mare represents Gordon Elliott’s formidable yard and is progressing with every outing. Sean Bowen continues the partnership and she should take plenty of stopping if reproducing her recent performance.
🏇 Late Night Drama – Best Odds: [5/1] (Unibet)
Susan Corbett’s charge got off the mark last time out and seems to be thriving with a strong front-running style. A repeat of that effort puts her right in the mix, though this task features a deeper challenge.
🏇 Moonbow – Best Odds: [9/1] (bet365)
A dual scorer in bumpers, Moonbow didn’t quite fire on his last start over timber but remains one to watch with Brian Hughes booked. If improving his technique over the obstacles, he could surprise a few of these.
🏇 Wrecking Ballbilly – Best Odds: [11/1] (Betvictor)
Showed glimpses of ability two seasons ago but has found little since returning. Noel Kelly will be hoping a return to better ground helps, but it’s tough to make a strong case based on recent evidence.
🏇 Delayed Charm – Best Odds: [100/1] (Unibet)
Maurice Barnes introduces this lightly raced four-year-old who made limited impact so far. While still learning the ropes, the gelding looks outclassed in this field.
🏇 Pure Gold – Best Odds: [25/1] (bet365)
Lisa Harrison’s mare has placed a few times in minor contests but still seeks a first win. Peter Kavanagh knows her well, and though unlikely to threaten the market leaders, she may keep on for a minor prize if the pace collapses.
🏇 Somebodycomegether – Best Odds: [66/1] (Betvictor)
Debut effort offered little promise, and with limited background form, Jessica Bedi’s five-year-old faces a steep learning curve here. Aaron Anderson rides, but improvement is essential to play any part.
Verdict
Emily Love sets the standard with her recent success and should be very hard to oppose if maintaining that form. For those looking away from the favourite, Moonbow has scope for progress and may bounce back with Hughes in the saddle. Late Night Drama comes here with winning momentum and could challenge for second if she continues in the same vein.

🏇 Chichester – Best Odds: [5/1] (bet365)
Lightly raced over timber, this versatile performer has hinted at potential in this sphere. Representing Lucinda Russell and ridden by Patrick Wadge, he’s stepping back into handicap company and could offer decent value at these odds.
🏇 Gonnino – Best Odds: [6/1] (BetMGM)
Bounced back to form with a good second last time out and may have more to offer. Trained by Gary Rutherford and partnered with Craig Nichol again, this six-year-old has every chance of going one better today.
🏇 Garrick Painter – Best Odds: [14/1] (Betvictor)
Showed very little in previous runs, but could be one for bigger prices if he puts in a more polished round. Noel C Kelly’s gelding isn’t the most consistent, yet a stronger gallop could play to his stamina late on.
🏇 Bringsty – Best Odds: [15/2] (bet365)
Not yet off the mark in his career and remains something of a mystery. Handled by Noel C Kelly, this seven-year-old might be worth watching for signs of improvement, especially if market support arrives.
🏇 Royal Creek – Best Odds: [10/1] (Unibet)
Has been below par in recent outings, but there’s past form to suggest he can figure if bouncing back. The booking of Henry Brooke could help, and a more assertive ride may bring out better results.
🏇 Cage Rattler – Best Odds: [9/1] (bet365)
Continues to flirt with a breakthrough and looks ready to pounce with the right conditions. Sandy Forster’s gelding has a solid recent effort to build on, and Conor O’Farrell knows him well enough to execute a clever ride.
🏇 Shadowfax Of Rohan – Best Odds: [7/1] (Betvictor)
Went close two starts back and shaped better than the result suggests last time. Micky Hammond’s charge could thrive over this sharper trip and is worth considering under Joshua Thompson.
🏇 Jet Patrol – Best Odds: [13/2] (bet365)
Ran with credit in his last two appearances, including a strong second. Sandy Thomson’s gelding looks well-treated and Jamie Hamilton retains the ride, which signals confidence in his chances.
🏇 Away She Goes – Best Odds: [4/1] (Unibet)
Backed up a solid win with a determined third last time out. Paul Robson’s six-year-old is clearly in good heart and with Edward Austin again taking the reins, another prominent run appears likely.
🏇 Top Flight Century – Best Odds: [33/1] (bet365)
This youngster showed little on previous starts but now benefits from the expertise of Brian Hughes. A bold performance would surprise, yet improvement is not out of the question.
🏇 Popa Rich – Best Odds: [25/1] (Betvictor)
Yet to get his head in front, though he’s run with credit on occasion. Jessica Bedi’s runner may need more cut in the ground, but he’s not completely dismissed under Aaron Anderson.
🏇 Ivynator – Best Odds: [8/1] (bet365)
Produced his best performance for some time when runner-up recently and could be hitting form at the right time. Jean McGregor’s gelding is not without a shout if he builds on that upward curve.
🏇 Willy Nilly – Best Odds: [25/1] (Unibet)
Absent since last season and still unproven over hurdles. Lisa Harrison’s veteran could need this run to sharpen up, though Danny McMenamin’s booking is a positive.
🏇 Inoue – Best Odds: [33/1] (Betvictor)
Failed to threaten in several appearances and remains one for the long-term notebook. Trainer Paul Robson will be hoping the tongue-tie can produce a spark under Lilly Pinchin’s guidance.
Verdict
There’s potential across the board, but Jet Patrol looks ready to strike after two solid runs and deserves a chance to get his head in front. Ivynator made a positive impression last time and could build on that effort, while Shadowfax Of Rohan appears to have more to give now that he’s settling into his rhythm. Each-way players might find value in Cage Rattler, who continues to progress steadily.

🏇 Just Dottie – Best Odds: [3/1] (Betvictor)
Arrives in top form having secured back-to-back wins, including here last time. Mike Smith’s mare is thriving under Sean Bowen and remains dangerous off a fair mark despite carrying top weight.
🏇 The Last Cloud – Best Odds: [5/2] (bet365)
Patrick Neville’s five-year-old has been steadily progressive and looked smart when winning over course and distance most recently. Brian Hughes returns in the saddle and connections will be hoping for more of the same.
🏇 Mack The Man – Best Odds: [13/2] (Unibet)
Veteran campaigner who made a pleasing return when runner-up on latest start. N W Alexander’s charge is no stranger to this grade, and with Kit Alexander aboard, he’s a value option at his current price.
🏇 Coventry – Best Odds: [33/1] (bet365)
Has offered little in his last few starts but did show glimpses of ability last winter. Trainer Lisa Harrison applies headgear again and Peter Kavanagh’s 3lb claim could help if he rediscovers some spark.
🏇 Bishop Hill – Best Odds: [12/1] (Betvictor)
Placed a few times last season and comes from a stable that does well at this venue. Lucinda Russell’s gelding will be hoping to finally get his head in front under the in-form Patrick Wadge.
🏇 Simple Star – Best Odds: [10/1] (Unibet)
Dianne Sayer’s gelding improved from his seasonal reappearance when staying on into second last time out. Henry Brooke keeps the partnership intact and a forward showing would not surprise.
🏇 Heart Above – Best Odds: [6/1] (bet365)
Has held his form nicely in similar events and has the benefit of experience at this track. Dianne Sayer’s second runner, partnered by Danny McMenamin, could prove dangerous with a well-timed challenge.
🏇 Trailblazer – Best Odds: [14/1] (Betvictor)
Built a consistent profile with solid recent form figures, including a win here. Adam Nicol’s six-year-old is versatile with tactics and should be thereabouts if continuing his upward trajectory.
🏇 Hourless – Best Odds: [33/1] (Unibet)
Hasn’t made much impact lately but represents a yard that can ready one at a price. John Dixon’s charge is well handicapped on old form and can’t be ruled out entirely for place money.
🏇 Cuban Cigar – Best Odds: [9/1] (bet365)
Possesses decent back form but has struggled to get involved in recent races. Lucinda Russell sends him out again with Conner McCann aboard, and if bouncing back, he could be a lively outsider.
🏇 Gemini Man – Best Odds: [33/1] (Betvictor)
Form figures don’t inspire confidence, with his recent effort lacking spark. Iain Jardine will be hoping for a turnaround, but it’s difficult to recommend with much confidence.
🏇 Leopolds Rock – Best Odds: [14/1] (Unibet)
Unexposed type who has gone close a few times in the past. Stuart Coltherd applies cheekpieces and Craig Nichol takes the ride — don’t ignore if market confidence grows.
Verdict
Simple Star appears to be finding his stride again and looks primed for a big run if building on his last outing. The Last Cloud brings rock-solid credentials to the table and should be in contention throughout. Each-way players may wish to keep Mack The Man on side — his recent return was promising and he retains enough class to feature in this company.

🏇 Breizh River – Best Odds: [8/1] (Betvictor)
Had a mixed campaign last season, winning one before fading out of contention in subsequent efforts. Paul Robson’s charge returns after a break and may benefit from a change of scenery, but needs to find consistency to make his presence felt.
🏇 Schmilsson – Best Odds: [11/10] (bet365)
Impressed with a commanding success last time out and looks a horse on the upgrade. Trained by Olly Murphy and steered by Sean Bowen, this progressive six-year-old has found a rhythm over fences and is the one they all have to beat.
🏇 Salamanca Bay – Best Odds: [5/1] (Unibet)
Delivered a good second on his latest outing and seems to be holding his form well. L J Morgan’s runner is partnered by Brian Hughes again, and if the pace is strong, he could capitalise late in the piece.
🏇 Dream Jet – Best Odds: [4/1] (bet365)
Got the job done in gritty style on his last start and remains competitive off this new rating. Brian Ellison keeps faith with Craig Nichol in the saddle, and the combination could go close once again if he gets into a rhythm early.
🏇 Champ De Gane – Best Odds: [8/1] (Betvictor)
Returns after a long layoff but brings a string of runner-up efforts prior to that absence. Sean Quinlan takes over from the saddle, and though fitness may be a question, he can’t be discounted on ability alone.
🏇 Nathan Wells – Best Odds: [10/1] (Unibet)
Andrew Hamilton’s six-year-old chased home a decent sort on return and looks to be building momentum. Alan Doyle’s 5lb claim helps his cause, and he could surprise a few if improving again second time out.
Verdict
Dream Jet brings solid recent form to the table and could land another blow if things fall his way tactically. While Schmilsson commands respect with a polished profile, the short price makes him opposable in value terms. Salamanca Bay looks the type to pick up the pieces late and offers fair each-way appeal in this compact field.

🏇 Hang In There – Best Odds: [8/1] (Betvictor)
A proven performer at a high level, though recent efforts suggest he’s struggled to reproduce his best. Emma Lavelle’s seasoned chaser has the class if back on song, and Gavin Sheehan’s presence is a positive, but he has something to prove after recent runs.
🏇 Riaan – Best Odds: [4/1] (bet365)
Returned to form with a solid runner-up finish last time, showing that Gordon Elliott’s eight-year-old retains ability. James Bowen takes over and with cheekpieces retained, he should go close if building on that recent effort.
🏇 Tullybeg – Best Odds: [10/1] (Unibet)
Has shown flashes of talent but struggled to land a blow in recent outings. Carl Millar claims a valuable 5lb, and if Tullybeg can rekindle earlier form, he could be a dark horse in this staying test.
🏇 Young Buster – Best Odds: [5/1] (bet365)
Signed off last season with a decisive win and returns looking to continue that progression. Fergal O’Brien’s charge, now fitted with cheekpieces and tongue tie, could go well fresh under Jonathan Burke if he’s ready to roll first time out.
🏇 Annsam – Best Odds: [9/1] (Betvictor)
Never far away in recent runs and holds useful back-form in tougher races. The drop into this company could help him become competitive again, and Adam Wedge is a dependable guide over this trip.
🏇 Statuario – Best Odds: [11/4] (Unibet)
Consistent of late with placed efforts at this course, and the return to Perth might be just what’s needed. Mickey Bowen’s runner is a popular market leader and Sean Bowen remains in the plate. If he travels well early, he’ll be hard to peg back.
🏇 Stans The Man – Best Odds: [11/2] (bet365)
In sparkling form with back-to-back wins under his belt, including over a similar distance. Ella Pickard’s gelding is going the right way and looks a major player with Ben Godfrey once again booked for the ride.
🏇 Ballintubber Boy – Best Odds: [10/1] (Betvictor)
Consistent in recent months, often finishing in the money. The Twiston-Davies team keeps him ticking over well, and Sam Twiston-Davies remains in the saddle. One for the shortlist if the pace suits closers.
Verdict
Young Buster brings the most untapped potential to this field and looks poised to step forward again off a workable mark. Stans The Man is a serious threat with his winning momentum and stays this trip well. Preference for third spot goes to Riaan, who showed renewed spark last time and could thrive if the race becomes a stamina test.

🏇 Half Shot – Best Odds: [8/1] (Unibet)
Returned with a respectable fifth following a short break and now steps back up in distance. The experienced Iain Jardine-trained 11-year-old can never be ruled out at this level, and with Brian Hughes back aboard, he remains an interesting contender.
🏇 Imperial Alex – Best Odds: [11/4] (bet365)
Bounced back to form with a game second at Worcester, shaping as if this stiffer test of stamina might suit. Tom Lacey keeps him on the go quickly, and Stan Sheppard takes the reins on this strong-travelling eight-year-old who’s clearly well treated.
🏇 Cooper’s Cross – Best Odds: [25/1] (Betvictor)
Returned from an extended absence and has shown little since his last completed run. Trainer Stuart Coltherd tries again with cheekpieces on, but this one has plenty to prove after a string of pulled-up efforts.
🏇 Ganapathi – Best Odds: [14/1] (Unibet)
Always on the premises without getting his nose in front, Sandy Thomson’s gelding will be hoping to finally break through. Craig Nichol maintains the partnership, and he’s one to watch if the blinkers continue to sharpen him.
🏇 Wasdell Dundalk – Best Odds: [20/1] (bet365)
Yet to rediscover his best since returning from a fall and ran below par last time out. Danny McMenamin climbs aboard again, and though he’s got the back class, he’ll need a clean round and more urgency through the race to threaten.
🏇 Garde Des Champs – Best Odds: [6/1] (Betvictor)
Back-to-back good efforts show Lucinda Russell’s runner is in fine heart. He’s a smooth traveller who likes to get into a rhythm early, and Patrick Wadge’s 3lb claim makes him an even more tempting proposition today.
🏇 Can’t Beat History – Best Odds: [9/2] (bet365)
Racked up a trio of wins before narrowly missing out on a fourth last time. Henry Oliver’s nine-year-old is thriving and remains competitive off this mark. Lee Edwards is familiar with him, and they’re sure to be in the firing line once again.
🏇 Hardy Diamond – Best Odds: [4/1] (Unibet)
Finished second on his reappearance and looks ready to step up again. Gordon Elliott’s six-year-old, ridden by Sean Bowen, has the profile of a progressive staying chaser and is one of the likelier winners here.
🏇 Glen Cannel – Best Odds: [9/2] (bet365)
Scored on his latest start and arrives in great nick for L J Morgan. Adam Wedge keeps the partnership going, and with plenty of stamina in the pedigree, he looks well equipped to go close once more.
🏇 Everyday Champagne – Best Odds: [20/1] (Betvictor)
Returned to something like his old self when fourth last time, but still finished some way behind the leaders. N W Alexander’s nine-year-old is not one to completely write off, especially with Bruce Lynn’s claim taking a useful bit of weight off.
Verdict
Imperial Alex looks well placed to go one better after a narrow defeat and could relish the extended trip and galloping nature of Perth. Garde Des Champs has been knocking on the door and could easily take advantage if the race unfolds to suit his style. Hardy Diamond appears to be improving and may be the value among the younger brigade in what should be a strong test of stamina.

🏇 Nowinittowinit – Best Odds: [14/1] (BetMGM)
Has been below form since early last year, and failed to complete in two of his last four appearances. Despite winning here previously, Jessica Bedi’s nine-year-old needs a resurgence. Aaron Anderson rides again, but he’s hard to back with confidence.
🏇 Donso Star – Best Odds: [4/1] (bet365)
Lightly raced for his age and posted a solid reappearance third last month. With a nice racing weight and R Mike Smith keeping him sharp, young William Maggs claims 5lb which could give him a competitive edge.
🏇 The Flying Poet – Best Odds: [5/2] (Betvictor)
Runner-up in a similar contest last time out, this consistent six-year-old remains on an upward curve. Olly Murphy’s gelding is partnered again by Sean Bowen, and with cheekpieces continuing, he looks one of the strongest options in this field.
🏇 Dalileo – Best Odds: [10/1] (Unibet)
More miss than hit in recent starts, but does have course-winning form and stays well. Lisa Harrison’s ten-year-old needs to rediscover past sparkle, though Peter Kavanagh’s 3lb claim is a handy bonus.
🏇 Man Of Action – Best Odds: [7/2] (bet365)
Bounced back to winning ways on his most recent start and comes into this with momentum. The five-year-old is thriving under Gary Rutherford’s training, and Dylan Johnston’s claim offers extra appeal.
🏇 Evies Court – Best Odds: [14/1] (Betvictor)
Has struggled to lay down a challenge in several outings and was well held again last time. Trained by Noel C Kelly, she needs everything to fall right under Mr D McGill if she’s to get involved.
🏇 Not In Kansas – Best Odds: [8/1] (bet365)
N W Alexander’s mare continues to run honest races but often finishes just off the pace. With cheekpieces left off this time, Bruce Lynn could try a change in tactics, though a place may be her best shot again.
🏇 King Coconut – Best Odds: [6/1] (BetMGM)
Has only shown moderate form so far, but steps up in trip today and that could bring out improvement. Nicky Richards teams up with Danny McMenamin and a better effort is plausible from this lightly raced type.
🏇 Burgundy Man – Best Odds: [28/1] (Betvictor)
Offered very little encouragement in recent months and looks one of the more exposed in the line-up. R Mike Smith’s eight-year-old would be a surprise winner, but Nathan Moscrop is booked again, suggesting persistence.
🏇 Strike Of Lighting – Best Odds: [33/1] (bet365)
Hasn’t been seen in competitive action for a long time and needs to show he’s still got the engine. George Bewley’s nine-year-old carries a light weight and has Edward Austin claiming further, but sharp improvement is essential.
🏇 Thatsy – Best Odds: [20/1] (Unibet)
Once rated much higher but has been in decline for some time. Lizzie Quinlan sends him out again, and while the drop in grade helps, it’s hard to know what to expect at this point. Sean Quinlan keeps the ride.
Verdict
Man Of Action is the most progressive in the field and could follow up his recent win with another bold showing, especially with a light racing weight. Donso Star shaped like a winner waiting to happen last time and can make his presence felt. The Flying Poet, however, brings the most consistency and may be the one to side with for those looking for stability in a wide-open contest.
