The Wyndham Championship Predictions & Tips

Kim Si-Woo To Win

£20 bet returns £340 with Betvictor

Main Bet: Kim Si-Woo

Kim Si-Woo was a somewhat unexpected competitor at the Open Championship last month, holding fifth position after 54 holes before ending tied for 15th, comfortably his best result in the competition.

But it won’t be a surprise to see his name towards the top of the scoreboard also in this tournament; in fact, it’s going to be fully anticipated.
His maiden PGA Tour victory came in this competition in 2016, and Kim has since finished sixth (in 2019), third (in 2020), and second (2021).
This incredible course form at Sedgefield features final-round scores of 64 in 2019 and 2021 as well as a 62 in 2020. In order to win in 2016, Kim shot an amazing 60 on day two.

Strokes Gained: On this course, a short par 70, Strokes Gained: Approach seem to be a major indicator of success.
At Sedgefield, Kim has took second place, third, and fifth in that category, and his strong finishes have been fueled by approach play rather than putting. He had a week off after finishing in the top 15 at St. Andrews, and then finished tied for 14th at the Rocket Mortgage Classic last week in Detroit.

Detroit GC was designed by Donald Ross, just like Sedgefield, therefore that had to be good.
Kim also contributes to solidifying the striking connection among Sedgefield and TPC Sawgrass. Five of the past 11 Wyndham winners also won the Players Championship, which he won in 2017. Kim can once more get his signature on the trophy.

Keith Mitchell (Each Way) To Win

£20 bet returns £92 (if placed) with Betvictor

Each-way Bet: Keith Mitchell

After it was discovered that Keith Mitchell’s father was a member there and that his sister attended a university there, his name appeared on some few betting slips for Open Championship at St. Andrews.

The additional course knowledge didn’t help him make the cut, but he must have still enjoyed himself in Scotland after shooting a 69 on the Old Course in round 2 and finishing with a 66 to tie for 36th place in the Scottish Open. Before leaving for the UK, Mitchell had been in excellent shape after finishing in the top 20 at Memorial, followed by ties for seventh at the Canadian Open and 6th at the Travelers Championship.
Mitchell’s season has been outstanding, as seen by his 38th-place finish in the FedEx Cup rankings. Mitchell also tied for 13th at Sawgrass previously this year.

He ranks fifth for Strokes Gained: Off The Tee, nineteenth for Birdie Average, and sixteenth for Scoring Average when we look at his other statistics. Although the course form of 55-MC-41 will not exactly make the heart race, he was fourth at the midway point in his debut in 2018 when he opened 65-66 and had started rather well the previous year.

Mitchell appears to be a reasonable bargain at this high price in a field with little depth, especially given his favorable course recollections and happy feelings following his trip to St. Andrews.
