The bottom half of the draw is a lot more competitive, as even if Nadal doesn’t recover in time, many potential winners will clash against each other. The likes of Berrettini, Bautista Agut, Kyrgios, Tsitsipas, Auger-Aliassime, Evans and Cilic. It is difficult to pick who will survive in this part of the draw, making Hubert a much more potentially rewarding bet. Surely it won’t be easy for him to go all the way, but he has shown last year that he loves to play on this grass, and since losing to Berrettini in the semis, he seems to have made progress, especially in the mental aspect of the game. This could be his moment if things go a bit on his way!
