Weekend Football Predictions | Weekend Acca!
Hello to our dear BT4Y friends. Are you ready for the start of the season in most top European leagues, including Premier League and Ligue 1? We certainly are and we had a much easier job finding three adequate picks for the weekend accumulator this time around.
The previous treble was denied by a shocking loss for Bretford to Birmingham City at Griffin Park. We successfully predicted Borussia Dortmund’s win over Bayern Munich as well as Liverpool’s double chance against Manchester City in the German and English Super Cup ties.
Let’s move to the new set of bets, featuring matches from the opening day in the Premier League and Ligue 1.
#1 West Ham United v Manchester City
This match should produce a true goal-fest on Saturday. The Hammers have an exciting attacking line-up with the additions of Pablo Fornals and Sebastian Haller. They saw off Hertha 3-5 and drew 2-2 to Athletic Bilbao in past two friendlies. They are going up against the reigning champions Manchester City in the opening round fixture. We all know about Pep Guardiola’s attacking firepower and we have to see the value in backing four or more goals at the odds of 6/5 here.
The first pick is Over 3.5 goals FT at the odds of 6/5!
#2 Notts County v Barnet
Both Notts County and Barnet have found goals extremely tough to come by at the start of the new National League campaign. The hosts took just one point from matches Eastleigh and Stockport County netting just one goal in the process. Barnet won one and drew one of two games so far, but they scored only two goals and both came from the penalty spot. We just can’t imagine a high-scoring scenario here.
The second pick will be Under 2.5 goals FT at the odds of 4/6!
#3 PSG v Nimes
PSG are still a formidable force in France even though they will likely lose star man Neymar in this transfer window. The Brazilian superstar will not feature Sunday’s season opener as he has not been in action at all for the club this summer. Nonetheless, Edinson Cavani and Kylian Mbappe should have plenty of room to deliver past Nimes’ defensive line. Les Crocodiles conceded 38 goals in 19 away outings in the previous term of Ligue 1. They look to be weaker than last year on paper and we expect the reigning champions to claim a demolishing victory at Parc Des Princes.
The last bet is PSG to win in -2.5 Asian Handicap at the odds of 19/20!
