Weekend Football Predictions | Championship Accumulator, Round 17!
Hello fellow tipsters. We didn’t manage to produce a single winner tip last time and we are looking for an improvement in this round. WBA failed to a surprising defeat against Hull City, While Nottingham Forest managed to keep the clean sheet in their victory over Sheffield United. Sheffield Wednesday suffered a heady 4-0 defeat at home against Norwich City although we predicted goals in both nets. This is our next treble:
#1 Middlesbrough v Wigan Athletic
The hosts are challenging one of the promotion spots and they are sitting in the playoffs zone being just two points behind the top. However, Britt Assombalonga and the lads haven’t tasted a win in the last three matches as they tied three draws. Although home side suffered just two defeats so far in the season, they’ve been involved in a lot of draw matches. Wigan Athletic failed into a poor form and they’ve lost four times in the last five rounds. The visitors are putting very poor performances when playing away from home as they’ve suffered seven defeats from eight outings. Middlesbrough are favourites in this one and they should be able to get back on winning track.
The first bet is Middlesbrough to Win at the odds of 4/6!

#2 WBA v Leeds United
In one of the most interesting matches of the round, WBA are going to host Leeds United in the battle for the promotion. However, the hosts haven’t been playing well lately as they’ve picked up just a point from the last four matches and that poor streak pushed them down to the 7th place. They’ve been involved in a lot of high scoring matches so far and although WBA are the most productive team in the league, they need to tighten up their defence. Leeds United are sharing the top spot along with Sheffield United and Norwich City and they’ve been in variable form lately. The visitors celebrated two times in the last four rounds, but Marcelo Bielsa’s side manages to hold them on the top. Both sides are very efficient so far in the season and we should expect to see goals in both nets.
The second pick is Both Teams to Score at 4/7 odds!

#3 Reading v Ipswich Town
This one is the clash of two relegation-strapped sides and the hosts are in a bit better position in compare to their rivals. They are on the edge of the relegation zone and the hosts booked two victories in the last five rounds. They’ve been pretty good in the front, while their defence is not on the satisfactory level. The visitors are hammered to the bottom of the table as they are five points behind their rivals. Ipswich Town are also having a leaky defence, but they haven’t been too productive in the front. However, as this is the battle for the survival, the nets won’t stay still in this one.
The third pick is Both Teams to Score at 8/11!
