Weekend Football Predictions | Away wins during the international break!
Greetings to our dear BT4Y friends. The international break came just at the right time for us since we created a disappointing accumulator last weekend, hitting just one of three bets on the occasion. We were way off with Spurs who were brutally beaten by Brighton & Hove Albion away at The AMEX.
The second Premier League game brought us more luck as Norwich City and Aston Villa produced a six-goal thriller at Carrow Road. We backed goals at both ends there. The Canaries found the late consolation goal to make the pick winning.
The luck turned us back the next day, though, as Roma’s late winner against Cagliari was cancelled for an offside. The teams shared spoils in a 1-1 draw as we needed three or more goals at Stadio Olimpico.
We decided to go for a big treble this time around, featuring three away win picks from the Euro 2020 Qualifications.
#1 Georgia v Republic of Ireland
The Republic of Ireland have a great opportunity to qualify for the EURO. They hold the very top of the standings in Group D with three wins and two draws in five matches. They travel to Tbilisi for the 6th round fixture against Georgia who have already been eliminated with just 4 points in 5 games. This is the match Mick McCarthy’s men need to win as they have two tough games against Switzerland and Denmark before the end of the campaign. The odds look delicious.
The first bet is the Republic of Ireland to win at the odds of 7/5!
#2 Liechtenstein v Armenia
Armenia got the chance to challenge the second position in Group J out of nowhere. They shocked Bosnia-Herzegovina 4-2 on the home soil last month and are now just three points shy of second-placed Finland after six rounds. The Armenians have been ion great form lately and they head into the clash against minnows Liechtenstein on the back of three wins in the last four qualifiers. They scored ten goals in these three wins. The quality is on their side and the visitors should not have problems taking advantage of the momentum and storming past the rock-bottomed opposition.
The second bet is Armenia to have the lead at the half time and win the match at the end at the 8/11 odds!
#3 Wales v Croatia
Croatia produced a phenomenal performance in the 3-0 drubbing of Hungary on Thursday evening in Split. They are now three points clear at the top of the group standings and will go into Sunday’s tie with Wales in the highest of spirits. The World Cup runners-up should feature with the strongest squad possible here as it should include La Liga stars Ivan Rakitic and Luka Modric. The odds are too good to be skipped.
The last pick is Croatia to win at the 6/4 odds!
