Main Bet: Jordan Spieth
Our main bet for this week is Jordan Spieth, who finished runner up at Pebble after an awe-inspiring performance. The three-time major winner finished fourth here in Phoenix last year and was third at Pebble the following week. He has perfect course form at TPC Scottsdale as he was seventh on debut in 2015 and ninth in 2017. So he has now secured three top 10s in five starts in this tournament, and he is also a player that does excel in back-to back-events: let’s not forget when he finished runner-up in Houston before winning the US Masters a week later. At this price, he looks an excellent bet for this week.

Each-way Bet: Adam Hadwin
You cannot think of Adam Hadwin when you think about desert golf. This is because he has been in exceptional form in The American Express at La Quinta, where he recorded two-second places, a third and a sixth. Despite his world ranking has dropped in the last two seasons, there are some excellent signs as he was tied 10th at the Wyndham Championship, securing a place in the FedEx Cup Play-offs. In October, he was also sixth in the Shriners Children’s Open in Las Vegas and started 2022 with tied 25th at The American Express and 16th place at Pebble Beach last week.
Course form is good as at TPC Scottsdale, the Canadian has made the last six cuts. He tends to do the best work on Bermuda surfaces and looks capable of being in contention here.
