Following a 5pt EVENS winner and a 12/1 place yesterday, Steve Ryder previews two races on Thursday 8th November. P&L +109.95pts.
1:15 Newbury- Mister Fisher 2/1 (5pt)
Mister Fisher was well backed for his debut when he won a bumper at Kempton in March. He was held up that day and made headway down the straight to eventually win by just over a length but it was the manner of his victory that was impressive. He was then thrown into the Aintree Bumper where he could only finish mid-division but he wasn’t the only fancied horse to disappoint in that race.
Mister Fisher has been given a positive update by Nicky Henderson in a stable tour, this is a race he has won in the past with Grade 1 horses like Claimantakinforgan last year and that means Mister Fisher should prove hard to beat on his hurdling debut.
2:05 Market Rasen- Drinks Interval 9/4 (1pt)
Drinks Interval beat my selection Debece in a novice chase at Chepstow last time when she made all to win by 11 lengths. That was her third win over fences and she deserves her chance in a listed race here.
Drinks Interval is rated 2lb higher than the favourite Casablanca Mix and if she can get into a good rhythm once again then she should prove hard to peg back.
