Following a 25/1 place yesterday, Steve Ryder previews three races on Thursday 8th August. P&L +69.70pts.
6:20 Leopardstown- Geological 13/2 (0.5pt ew)
Geological won on his last visit to Leopardstown off a mark of 80 and should now run well off a mark of 82. He has been running well since but has just weakened late on over 7f when trying to make all.
Geological is interesting dropped back to 6f and should go well.
8:05 Newcastle- River Cam 11/10 (1pt)
River Cam was a well backed 4/7 on debut at Yarmouth but just failed to win by a neck. The pair pulled nearly four lengths clear of the third and with that experience under her belt should be extremely hard to beat in this race.
8:15 Sandown- Rock The Cradle 4/1 (1pt)
Rock The Cradle has placed in all three handicap runs and looks sure to be suited by the drop back to a mile here. He was cruising over 1m2f at Yarmouth last time when taking the lead entering the final furlong before weakening into second late on.
Rock The Cradle has been raised 3lb for that effort but should be able to get off the mark now back down in trip.
