Following a blank day yesterday, Steve Ryder previews two races on Thursday 6th December. P&L +105.85pts.
6:30 Chelmsford- Glory Of Paris 11/8 (2pt)
Glory Of Paris was bought for 20,000 gns at the sales following a good 3rd placed finish at Kempton and left Rod Millman to join the Michael Appleby yard. He made his debut over this C&D 7 days ago off a mark of 72 when only beaten a neck having been keen during the race.
That was Glory Of Paris’ first run at a mile for over a year so he was entitled to take a hold early and if he settles better in this race he should prove hard to beat.
7:30 Chelmsford- Lucymai 4/1 (2pt ew)
Lucymai has a fantastic C&D record in handicaps with form figures of 6123112118. She can be forgiven her latest effort as it was off a career high mark of 105 and she couldn’t get to the lead from a poor draw.
Lucymai is now back down to a mark of 100 (her last winning mark) which means she should prove hard to beat in this small field from a good draw.
