Main Bet: Daniel Berger
For the first time since 2013 this tournament will be hosted at the Liberty National and our main pick for this week is Daniel Berger. The last time we backed him was at the WGC-St. Jude Invitational when he finished in fifth place. In that event, he ranked 1st for SG: Approach and 3rd for SG: Tee To Green. Berger is heading to this event in top form as in the last four appearances, he recorded a tied 5th at St June, tied 8th at the Open Championship, tied 34 at the John Deere and tied 7th at the US Open.
He is a very consistent player who has achieved top 10s in several different courses, so he is also very versatile. At the Liberty National, he had also landed the Presidents Cup in 2017, so undoubtedly a course where he can do well. Berger, who has won at Pebble Beach earlier this year, looks capable of delivering a great win and, at this price, looks a terrific value.

Each Way Bet: Jhonattan Vegas
Jhonattan Vegas should be in contention here as he is a strong tee to green player, who is ranking number 32 this season in this metric. If we look at the last few months, we can see that his stats have improved significantly as he is in the top 25 for Tee To Green in all the last six starts. Thanks to those performances, he has secured some tasty finishes like the second places at Palmetto Championship and 3M Open. He has also consistently finished in the top 16: he was tied 11 at John Deere, 16th at the Olympics and 15 at the Wyndham Championship. Furthermore, Vegas has played at this course in 2019 and did quite well as finished tied 38th shooting 72-69-71-67. This is a top-class field, but it is worth backing him to be in contention at this extraordinary price considering his current form.
