Following a 10/1 place yesterday, Steve Ryder previews two races on Sunday 28th April. P&L +32.43pts.
2:50 Sligo- Perfect Leader 11/2 (0.5pt ew)
Perfect Leader has been in good form over fences since joining Mags Mullins two seasons ago and recently won off a mark of 91 at Leopardstown in March. She brought him over to Wetherby for a valuable handicap after that where he finished a good third off 99 and he now reverts back hurdles and looks well treated.
In Ireland Perfect Leader is rated 95 over fences but only 86 over hurdles so he looks well treated and with four places on offer he looks a good each way bet in this.
4:15 Navan- Capri 11/8 (2pt)
Capri is a duel classic winner having won the Irish Derby and St Leger in 2017. He made a winning reappearance last season but missed nearly all of the remainder through injury. Aidan O’Brien thinks he will be his Ascot Gold Cup horse this season and therefore starts him in this race and he looks extremely hard to beat avoiding a penalty.
The Aidan O’Brien stable have been in good form early on this season and with Ryan Moore booked, Capri should make a winning reappearance.
