3:15 Kelso- Oak Vintage 3/1 (1pt)
Oak Vintage has been in good form this season with three wins from his last four runs. He won a Novices Handicap Chase at Sedgefield on soft ground off a mark of 95 before struggling on heavy ground on his next start. He then bounced back on good ground at Sedgefield again winning by 6 lengths off a mark of 101. He then won by 11 lengths at this venue last time off a mark of 110 and is now rated 119 over fences. He now reverts back to hurdles for the first time since November 2016 off a mark of 114 (5lb lower than over fences) and he should go well.
4:00 Fontwell- Antony 9/4 (1pt)
Antony bounced back to form last time out here over 2m5f off a mark of 126 and should be able to follow up under a 2lb rise with James Bowen now on board claiming off 3lb. That means that Antony has now won over fences of marks of 120, 125, 128 and 126 with his victory off a mark of 128 coming in a Grade 3 Handicap Chase at Ascot over 3 miles. Gary Moore is in great form with 5 wins and 3 places from his last 13 runners and James Bowen has a good record for the yard (2 wins from 3 runners). He should follow up now he has got his confidence back at a course we know he likes.
