Following a disappointing day yesterday, Steve Ryder previews two races on Sunday 26th May. P&L +49.58pts.
4:25 Curragh- Qabala 10/3 (1pt)
Qabala won her only start as a two year old before winning the Group 3 Nell Gwyn Stakes on her reappearance. On the back of that success she was sent off 7/2 favourite for the 1000 Guineas where she finished 3rd beaten just over a length. She was slightly short of room when making her effort 3f out before staying on well at the finish without reaching the winner Hermosa.
Qabala renews rivalry with Hermosa in this race and with a better passage through the race I expect her to reverse that form.
5:25 Fontwell- Stubborn Logic 13/8 (1pt)
Stubborn Logic was bought out of the yard of small Irish trainer J Halley and joined Dr Richard Newland in April. He was sent off favourite for his stable debut where he slightly disappointed at Wincanton before looking the winner at Warwick last time when falling at the 6th hurdle.
Stubborn Logic runs here off the same mark of 99 and if his jumping can hold out then he should prove hard to beat.
