Main Bet: Fabrizio Zanotti

This is another new tournament and venue, so although we don’t have historical data to refer to, we know that it is a Jack Nicklaus design, and we have some correlated info to use in our search for a potential winner. Our main pick for this week is Fabrizio Zanotti. The Paraguayan is coming to this event in very good form, having played all four rounds in 15 consecutive tournaments. He has won two-time at the DP World Tour in his career and has good form on Nicklaus courses, with his first win coming at Golden Bear’s Gut Larchenhof and also performed decently last week at Pecanwood. He looked solid also on his previous Nicklaus start at Mount Juliet and indeed commands plenty of respect this week at this high price.

Sullivan (Each-Way) To Win

Each Way Bet: Andy Sullivan

Andy Sullivan can surely be in contention if he can find his mojo on a Nicklaus layout once again. He has had a positive start last week and could improve further in this tournament. His price is fascinating also considering that he has been consistent on Nicklaus’ courses with a tied 13th at The London Club, a tied 12th at Mount Juliet, and winning at Hanbury Manor. He also recorded a ninth and tied 21st at Gut Larchenhof, a tied 13th at Muirfield Village, and two wins at the South African Open and Joburg Open. He has undoubtedly what it takes to be in contention, and at this price, he looks great value to be in contention, and he is our each-way punt.
