St Leger Betting Tips Thursday

2:40pm Doncaster – Park Hill Stakes Tips (Group 2)

John Gosden’s Enbihaar is becoming the star fillies of the season after landing wins at the Lancashire Oaks and Lillie Langtry Stakes. She will try to add the Paek Hill Stakes on Thursday, which is an intriguing Group 2 race.

The four-year-old has been made the 5/4 favourite with Betfred. This even though she would need to give significant weight to all her three-year-old competitors. She has already shown that she is a top-notch filly and if she can race in the same way as at Glorious Goodwood will be very tough to match.

Top Betting Offers To Take Advantage Of In the St Leger Festival

The only credible opponent to Enbihaar is Ed Vaughan’s Dame Malliot. She was last seen winning at Deauville (Group 2) and can be backed at 5/2 with bet365. Looking further in the betting market, we find Mark Johnston’s Vivid Diamond at 12/1 with bet365 and Aidan O’Brien’s Delphinia at 12/1 with BetVictor. Worth of mentioning is also Richard Hannon’s Star Terms at 14/1 with BetVictor. All of those horses will take their chances, but realistically it is difficult to see a massive upset here.

3:45pm Doncaster – May Hill Stakes Tips (Group 2)

Cloak Of Spirits will represent Richard Hannon. She was last seen recording an impressive three and half-length win on her debut at Ascot. She will step up into Group level on Thursday, and it is not surprising that has been made the 5/2 favourite by 888Sport to win the May Hill Stakes.

West End Girl won the Sweet Solera Stakes last time out. The daughter of Golden Horn has already proven to be able to win at Group level and can be backed at 9/2 with William Hill. At the same price, we have Aidan O’Brien-trained Passion (9/2 with BetVictor). Again she was a fine winner in the last race and looks a good value to us.

The May Hill Stakes has thrown remarkable winners in recent years on Thursday at the St Leger Meeting. This year’s renewal is set to be a very competitive affair with Boomer and Alpen Rose who are adding more depth (5/1 and 7/1 respectively with William Hill).
