Match Preview & Team News
Slutsk vs FC Vitebsk betting tips & predictions on this Belarus Vysshaya Liga’s Saturday clash. It has been a very positive start to the season for the hosts. Can they secure another win and move towards the top of the table on Saturday? Read below our Belarus Vysshaya Liga betting tips and predictions.
Slutsk are scoring for fun at the moment
It has been overall a positive start to the new Belarus Vysshaya Liga for Vitali Pavlov’s men who have so far won two games out of the three played, with one defeat. They have been particularly prolific in attack as they have already netted six goals, with their striker Serdyuk who has already scored two times in three starts. Less positive news for them is that they are leaking goals at the back as they have conceded four goals to date, yet have been able to mask this issue by scoring more.
In the last match, Slutsk have been able to secure a thrilling 3-2 win away to Isloch Minsk and will be keen to follow that up with a positive result on Saturday. So far they have played two games at their Garadskoi Stadion: they have won on debut against Slavia Mozyr for 3-1 but have been defeated by Belarus’ defending champions, Dinamo Brest in the second round.
FC Vitebsk have secured two clean sheets in three games
Similarly to the hosts, FC Vitebsk are coming into this clash on the back of two wins and one defeat. Although they have been less impressive compare to Slutsk when it comes to their attacking performances, they have been much more solid at the back with two clean sheets achieved in three games. They will be heading to this Saturday’s clash in good spirit after securing a precious 1-0 away win against newly-promoted Smolevichi-STI in the last weekend.
Their only defeat this season so far has been away to Neman Grodno in the second round (2-0). Considering that last term Sergey Yasinskiy’s were able to secure survival with just a point advantage over the relegation zone, this is undoubtedly a successful start of the season for them, but they have to keep up the excellent work in upcoming weeks to consolidate their good position in the table.
