Following a 9/2 win and a 9/1 place yesterday, Steve Ryder previews two races on Saturday 11th May. P&L +44.66pts.
3:40 Lingfield- Pretty Baby 5/2 (1pt)
Pretty Baby has ran consistently well on all of her career starts with form figures of 211121. Her two defeats have both come at York but she has shown versatility by winning at Chelmsford, Redcar, Nottingham and Goodwood. She won a listed race in May last year before ending the season with a Group 3 victory in the Oak Tree Stakes where she beat Dancing Star by a neck.
Pretty Baby looked the sort to progress from 3 to 4 last year and if she is ready to go on her seasonal debut then she should prove hard to beat.
4:00 Ascot- Kynren 8/1 (0.5pt ew)
Kynren was unlucky not to win one of these big prizes last season but ran with credit to finish placed at Sandown, York and Ascot off marks of 73, 96, 97 and 99. He made his seasonal reappearance in the Lincoln where he was only beaten by the extremely well handicapped Auxerre off this mark of 98.
Kynren ran well in the Balmoral Handicap on soft ground when 5th off a mark of 99 and he should be involved in the finish with six places on offer.
