Main Bet: Seamus Power To Win

With three PGA Tour victories in the previous four months, Tony Finau won the Houston Open last week with ease. He won the 3M Open and Rocket Mortgage Classic in July and looks in great shape for this week. Finau won the Rocket Mortgage by five strokes and has proven he can keep up his form for 144 holes. He should be respected because he was the most accurate driver the week before, but short odds should be avoided because he hasn’t done RSM before.

Finau has only played in this competition once, back in 2014, and the Plantation Course wasn’t in use at that time. He placed 14th, indicating that he liked the Seaside Course, but this week he will play his first round on the Plantation Course. McIlroy and Power might play together in the Ryder Cup in Italy the following year. Power finished third in the Mayakoba competition after taking home his second PGA Tour victory at the Bermuda Championship at the end of last month. The RSM assignment for this week sounds ideal for the Irishman, who is now ranked 30th in the world.

Last year, he started on the Seaside Course with a 63, which showed that he was a good fit for the course, finishing in 4th place.
On Sunday, power should once again be a factor. For this late bloomer, this event appears like a terrific chance to go to greater and better things. The swinger from Las Vegas can achieve a hat-trick on the PGA Tour this week and looks like a terrific value.
