The Players Championship Finals will start on Friday. This is the last tournament before the World Championships next month, and the best darts players are heading to Minehead to fight for the £100,000 top prize.
To qualify for this event players have to perform in the 30 Players Championship events that are taking place throughout the year. Since some of the best players are missing some of the tournaments to concentrate on the bigger events, the seedings for the Players Championship doesn’t always reflect the World Rankings. For instance, Michael van Gerwen is number 18, and Rob Cross is number 42. Below you will be able to find our Players Championship Finals betting tips.

Dave Chisnall To Win Outright (Each-way)
Dave Chisnall has been in very good form recently and he will be looking to land his first TV major this weekend. At the World Grand Prix he played really well and was only stopped by ‘Chizzy’ Michael van Gerwen. He has since made the quarter-finals of the European Championships and also the Grand Slam and the semi-finals of the World Series Finals. Last week he was averaging 99 and this is what he has been doing for a while.
Chisnall loves this competition, and he had already reached the final in 2016. He has also recorded two other quarter-final appearances here. The draw could have been better for him, but surely he can defeat Matthew Edgard in the first round. After that, he will have to play either Mervyn King or Justin Pipe. In the third round, he will probably have to face Rob Cross, but that shouldn’t be a massive problem either. Chisnall has a great record against ‘Voltage’ in this season, and surely he can beat him again here.
Looking at Chisnall averages, we can see that he has been throwing consistently well. The final of the double-start World Grand Prix also showed that his doubles have been in shape recently. He is on the difficult part of the draw but looks splendid value at 22/1 this week.
