The PGA Tour

The PGA Tour is effectively the professional golf game in the United States, and it was first formed back in 1968. The PGA also operates the Champions Tour for seniors and the Nationwide Tour for young players. From a betting point of view, it is the main PGA Tour that does attract the majority of attention. Players that are competing in the weekly tour event are fighting to finish in the top 125 of the money list. This will give them the guarantee that they can continue playing on the tour for another season.

Top players are also looking to earn enough money so that they can compete to win the Fed-Ex Cup at the end of the normal season. Tournaments every week give Fed-Ex points and the best 125 at the end of the season will be eligible to go to the play-offs.
