Next Arsenal Manager Odds
The times when Arsene Wenger was collecting trophies for Arsenal is well over, and for the Gunners, trophies have been harder to come by in recent seasons. Their chances of winning the Premier League are almost over right at the beginning of the new season and even now that Wenger left, there is no improvement. Wenger left the club at the end of 2017/18 season and was replaced by Unai Emery. The Spanish manager failed to make an impact and was sacked in late November 2019.
Below you will find the latest odds on who is going to be appointed the next Arsenal Manager.
Next Permanent Arsenal Manager Betting
According to bookmakers, caretaker boss Freddie Ljungberg is one of the early favourites to secure the permanent job at Arsenal following the sacking of Unai Emery on 29th November. He is currently available at 7/1 in a very fluid market.
Wolves boss Nuno is also strongly linked with a move to the Gunners. The Portuguese has impressed in the midlands and surely have a style of play that could fit well with the Gunners’ philosophy. Moving down in the Arsenal Manager betting market list, we find Mauricio Pochettino who is available at 7/1. Surely Poch will be seen as a positive appointment by many Arsenal fans, but it remains to be seen if the Argentine will be prepared to make a move to the other side of north London after being sacked by Spurs just a week ago.
Ex-Gunners Mikel Arteta was a previous favourite but odds have dropped back to around 8/1 recently amongst speculations that he wants to continue his work under Pep Guardiola at Manchester City for the time being.
Interesting names are also further down in the betting market. Former Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri is available at 7/1 with some bookmakers. Even if the Italian is without a job at the moment, it might be a risky move for him to Arsenal. It could decide to see out his sabbatical year before potentially move to Spain or even to Manchester United.
Experienced Premier League managers Rafa Benitez and Carlo Ancelotti are at 25/1 and 40/1. Patrick Viera is currently at 25/1 at the moment and would be a move from the board to try to pacify Gunners’ fans by bringing in a former Arsenal legend.
The best priced Englishman is Eddie Howe that can be backed at 25/1 with William Hill. Brendan Rodgers who is doing a great job with Leicester is available at 40/1 with Paddy Power.
