Zozo Championship Odds
The Zozo Championship is a new tournament on the PGA Tour. Not surprisingly it is last week’s CJ Cup winner Justin Thomas who is the top favourite to land another trophy this week. Even though the American is in very good form, he will face a huge number of top competitors of the likes of McIlroy, Hideki Matsuyama and Jordan Spieth.
The golf tournament will take place at the Accordia Golf Narashino Country Club in Japan. The 78 players competing are the top 60 available PGA Tour players from last year’s FedEx Cup ranking. There will also be some elite stars from the Japan Golf Tour. The par-70 is a new test for golfers, and with a huge price pot, we expect a great spectacle. There is no cut so all players will go through the 72 holes.

Zozo Championship Betting Tip
Justin Thomas can be backed at 15/2 with Paddy Power to win the Zozo Championship in Japan. The American did shine at the CJ Cup last week and surely will be the one to beat in this first edition of this intriguing tournament.
There won’t be any cut after 36 holes and given that Thomas has shown great consistency, he might well be in the frame. If you are looking for value though the odds do look skinny also considering the huge talents that will be competing.
Next in the betting market is Rory McIlroy that is at 8/1 chance with bet365. The Northern Irishman has struggled for consistency this season and can be safely ignored in this one.
