On the other side, Zhang, whose appearance at the US Open is relatively limited, has displayed grit that can’t be underestimated.
Zhang’s recent 5-set thriller against John Jeffrey Wolf is testament to his resilience. Clinching a victory in such a tight situation not only gives a player confidence but also provides invaluable experience of managing the pressure that a Grand Slam event like the US Open can bring.
Casper, meanwhile, didn’t have the start many would have predicted. The Norwegian faced a formidable challenge against Emilio Nava, even requiring two tie-breaks to move to the next round. This shows vulnerability and also gives a glimpse of how unpredictable tennis can be.
The Game Prediction
Considering both their recent matches and their respective forms, predicting a straight-set win for either player seems far-fetched. Zhang has demonstrated that he can stretch his opponents, and Ruud’s recent game shows he’s not invincible. Therefore, predicting an “over 36.5 games” in their match looks promising. This prediction also reflects the competitive nature of the contest we’re likely to witness.

Before her injury, she showcased formidable performances, notably reaching the Australian Open final and the US Open semi-finals, only to be bested by Naomi Osaka on both occasions.
Given her past performances and her recent run – having beaten top-tier players like Anhelina Kalinina and Jelena Ostapenko – Brady is showing she still has the arsenal to challenge the best.
Facing Magda Linette
Brady’s next opponent, Magda Linette, brings her own set of challenges.
