Evening predictions: Free tips for MLS this weekend with 29/1 acca!

Since we are in the middle of the international break, there isn’t much action in Europe tonight, so our focus for this weekend lies in North America, where there are plenty of games with the MLS, which is heading into gameweek five this weekend. The first match will start at 20:30 with Portland Timbers vs. LA Galaxy, which will open a full slate of 14 fixtures that will be played all overnight.

Germany v Peru – Germany to win to nil

After a truly disappointing World Cup campaign, Germany are back to work to prepare for the next Euro 2024 tournament. Since they are already qualified as host nation, they will play a series of friendly games over the next year, and Hansi Flick will have to show some significant improvement, especially defensively, where Die Mannshaft looked more vulnerable in the winter.

Furthermore, Germany, who are unbeaten in their last 12 friendly matches, have won only three of their last 11 games, and we expect the former Bayern Munich manager to start his work from the ground up, which means improving their defence. The Peruvians are not great upfront, which could help his task, and we expect a rather close affair with Germany that should get a narrow win to nil. After all, Peru have lost their last four games played against European sides.

Portland v LA Galaxy – Draw

Both of these teams have had a rather shaky start to their seasons and will be looking for an immediate improvement. The hosts have been defeated in all three of their last MLS games, including a 5-1 hammering against Atlanta last time.

Galaxy are still winless after their first three games, with defeats at Dallas and a draw against Sporting Kansas City. The fear of losing again might deliver a rather blocked and nervy affair, but the stalemate looks like the best value.

Morocco vs Brazil – Under 2.5 goals

After shocking the world in Qatar by reaching the semi-final of the World Cup, it will be interesting to see how Morocco will fare in this interesting friendly game against Brazil.

The Selecao were eliminated in the quarterfinals in Qatar in what was a disappointing campaign and will be willing to restart immediately with a win. Without Neymar and with Morocco, who showed to be defensively very sound with just one goal conceded in their opening five games of Qatar’s competition, we expect a close affair in which the Under 2.5 goal line looks the way to go.

Columbus Crew v Atlanta United – Atlanta Utd to win

It has been an impressive start to the season for Atlanta United, who have managed to secure ten points from four games and are now sitting at the top of the Eastern Conference. They are scoring for fun, and although this will be a difficult test against a Columbus Crew side that is pretty strong on home soil, there is good value in backing the visitors to edge this clash and secure the three points.
