Main Bet: Guido Migliozzi To Win
A String of Nicklaus Courses
Looking at the stats, this week is the fourth consecutive tournament of the DP World Tour that will be played at a Jack Nicklaus-designed course. This follows the likes of St Francis Links and Steyn City in South Africa, and Ishioka last week in Japan.
A Unique Venue
This course is likely to impress because it has a typical Jack Nicklaus layout, with greens that sit diagonally and deep sand traps and water hazards on the inside angle. Initially it was designed with severe greens, but some have been modified recently to make it less intimidating.

Windy Conditions
Being situated at the end of the peninsula on which Incheon sits, the course is likely to have windy conditions due to the proximity of the Yellow Sea. In the past we have seen the sea breezes influencing the results, and for this week the forecast predicts more windy conditions so this is an angle we need to consider.
Main Bet: Guido Migliozzi
Guido Migliozzi is my main bet for this tournament. The Italian golfer has done well on courses with water hazards since landing last year’s Open de France at Le Golf National. Migliozzi did also well at the Belfry in 2021 and has demonstrated to be well-capable when windy conditions, with top showings in the 2018 Sicilian Open, 2020 Oman Open, 2021 Qatar Masters and 2022 Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship.
After a period of rather bad form, Migliozzi looked sharp last week securing a tied 23rd finishing after a brilliant start. With the Italian Open getting closer, he will be motivated this week to keep the momentum.
