With their Champions League hopes all but dashed, Niko Kovac’s men are likely to throw caution to the wind in front of their home support. However, Dortmund’s leaky defence at Signal Iduna Park—only three wins in their last 12 home games—makes a comeback virtually out of reach.
Barcelona, on the other hand, arrive in Germany in dazzling form, having yet to taste defeat in 2025. They’ve won each of their last three Champions League clashes against German sides and are riding a 16-match unbeaten run on their travels. Even if rotation is expected from Hansi Flick, the Blaugrana possess ample firepower, with Robert Lewandowski and Lamine Yamal in excellent scoring form. Dortmund may snatch a goal or two in this dead-rubber scenario, but Barcelona’s ruthless finishing should ensure another high-scoring outcome.
