Dubai Desert Classic Predictions & Tips

Min Woo Lee To Win

£20 bet returns £380 with Betvictor

Main Bet: Min Woo Lee To Win

Min Woo Lee’s tossing and turning in bed after missing a tiddler on the last green last week would be quite reasonable. He would have needed a play-off if he had holed it and still made birdie on the final hole. But I also get the impression that Minjee’s brother won’t be tormented by what-if scenarios. He’s confident, on the rise, and almost always in contention when he takes the tee. He will be anticipating more opportunities.

In five of his previous seven outings, Lee has finished in the top four. During this stretch, he placed third at the Open de Espaa, third at the Andalucia Masters, fourth at the Australian PGA, third at the Australian Open, and second last week.

How is his Majlis Course playing ability?

He missed the cut after two rounds of 75 in his debut two years ago, although he was in terrible shape at the time. He has won in windy conditions at 13th Beach and The Renaissance Club. He also placed ninth at Dom Pedro in the Portugal Masters, a course where Emirates professionals are known to do well. He finished fourth at Jumeirah Fire in Dubai and had two top-20 finishes at Jumeirah Earth. At this high price, it’s surely worth a shot to go all the way this time.
