This tournament doesn’t mean too much for top players as we already know who has qualified for the Tour Finals after the Paris event. Despite that, there are still 28 players who are keen to make the trip to Stockholm, hoping to end their season in the best possible way. The top seed is Jannik Sinner, the tournament favourite, with Auger-Aliassime and Shapovalov in the second-favourite position.

This event didn’t occur last year, but we can see that strong servers have dominated it from historical data. So although conditions aren’t particularly quick for an indoor court based on historical data, it won’t be a surprise if this trend continues. Sinner has finished the season strongly but hasn’t been particularly convincing in recent weeks, and his price doesn’t represent much value.

Much better to back Shapovalov, who has a much open draw. The Canadian didn’t play in Paris last week, so it will be refreshed, and although he hasn’t been particularly impressive lately, it should have what it takes to bounce back here and could be the tournament’s surprise package. The bottom half of the draw looks weaker, and Shapovalov is close to his best, should go deep here, and his price is value.
