Following a blank day yesterday, Steve Ryder previews three races on Monday 29th April. P&L +29.43pts.
3:10 Southwell- Native Silver 4/1 (1pt)
Native Silver won here on debut over 7f despite blowing the start 46 days ago. He stayed on strongly at the finish that day so this step up to a mile looks sure to suit. Lofty, who finished second has since finished second again and the winner that day has followed up recently.
With a recent form boost and a step up in trip sure to suit, Native Silver can defy a penalty.
3:55 Newcastle- Merweb 5/2 (1pt)
Merweb got off the mark here last time over a mile off a mark of 71 and should be able to defy a 4lb rise. He stayed on strongly at the finish over a mile and looks sure to be suited by the step up to 1m2f.
If he is ready to go after a short break then Merweb should prove hard to beat.
6:50 Naas- I Am Superman 13/2 (0.5pt ew)
I Am Superman was an impressive winner on handicap debut last time when he bolted up over 7f at Leopardstown. He won by an eased down 1 ¾ lengths that day but could have easily been ten lengths.
The handicapper is taking no chances with a 10lb rise but I Am Superman looks really progressive and can defy the rise.
